    Very clean. Very comfortable beds

Not much hanging space for towels etc in bathroom. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would have been useful. Very Overcooked fried eggs. They did bring me some more out but undercooked!!

Gorgeous hotel, care & attention throughout, friendly staff, cleanliness a priority, free parking (some hotels, tourist attractions etc charge for parking when there is no need but pure greed), great location for exploring Exeter & beyond!

Comfy clean room, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. On duty night Porter meant late check in was no problem at all. On site parking was great. Perfect 1 night stop over en route to Cornwall to break up the long journey. Would recommend and hope to return.

    Nothing - all great.

Lovely hotel, we only stayed for 1 night, stay over on to another venue, was just the job but a little further out of town than I thought

Had to rebook via booking.com because it was £20 cheaper than original price

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

The cord for the window blind snapped open at a join too high for me to repair so I was in blackout from the evening onwards. The shower had to be handheld as the wall mounting was broken and presumably had been when the room was cleaned. Both problems could so easily be remedied by a competent handyman.

It was very clean and well situated.

There is no lift so accessing the first and second floors with heavy luggage was a bit difficult. There is no air conditioning but there are fans supplied in the rooms.

The room was good - spacious and comfortable with good facilities.

No proper vegan option for breakfast - they just took stuff off so we only had beans and hash browns on toast with a raw tomato. No vegan sausausage, no mushrooms or other meat alternatives. Served cows milk even after ordering black coffee and a vegan meal! Need some training - it’s 2025 guys.

Very good price, good breakfast, parking. Room while small-ish has everything.

Don't take room #1. It's right above kitchen and you'll be woken up at 5:30 by the noise from kitchen. It was super hot in our room for some reason. As I later figured out heating pipe was hot (luckily, not the radiator). Combined with sunny weather during the day it took us whole night with open windows to cool room down a bit.

Comfortable, clean hotel with high ceilings, good curtains, plenty of parking, and a nice served breakfast (hot and cold options available, including a good hot vegetarian option). Twin room (front-facing on the 2nd floor) was spacious and well appointed.

En-suite bathroom window was transparent (but to be fair, there were no neighbouring properties overlooking it, since we were on the 2nd floor, so not really a privacy issue). Some traffic noise from the main road outside (but it was very peaceful within the building itself -- we only realised how many guests there were the next morning at breakfast!).

Location and the size of the studio room were both good.

Shower filter was blocking runaway of water, told receptionist- who could not have been more lovely and apologetic. Was still not cleaned by time we left.
