Only the uphill walk from town! Maybe Booking.com advert should make it clear that some rooms are on 2nd floor and car park is a fair walk (with steps) from reception - wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a lovely house, great breakfasts and friendly hosts. On site parking was a big plus.

Very welcoming, we arrived outside of our expected time and Fi was able to accommodate us. We stayed in the Jurassic room which was spacious, clean and had everything we needed (I'd forgotten to bring shampoo, so it was nice to find a small bottle in the bathroom). Breakfast was delicious - I quite like to eat breakfast at cafes on holiday, but had breakfast here instead, and I don't feel like I missed out at all. Really good food. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, and the nespresso machine was a nice touch. Location is good, not so close to the centre of town that it's noisy, but within easy walking distance. Parking is available, which was handy. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a room.

As in most places in Lyme, un uphill walk back to property, but was as expected so not a problem!

Stayed in Anning room, which was modern and spotlessly clean. King size comfy bed and a sofa to relax on. Lovely view. Very good shower. Room well-serviced and replenished daily. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful hosts. Short walk down into town & beach. Would definitely stay again.

Firstly hosts Fiona and John were great, friendly and easygoing, breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice. Rooms and whole place were very clean, the pool area was brilliant to sit round in the sun, didn't use the pool. we loved our stay and couldn't of been made more welcome. Great place, location and town, it was such a pleasure and can't thank Fiona and John enough, thank you and hope to see you both soon. Best wishes Peter & Jackie

Room was really good size. It was clean and tidy. Had a fan in room which is great and really beneficial. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was good. B&B was in great location.

Very friendly and welcoming. Cleaned to perfection, and with daily housekeeping (a rarity these days). Wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choices. Comfortable beds, nice shower room. Fresh milk in fridge downstairs for guests. Fi and Jon are excellent hosts, very helpful but never intrusive.

Nothing, we liked everything.

The owners were great, the facilities were ideal and the owners have really made this a comfortable and really nice place to stay. The breakfast was lovely, I tried different things from the menu each day and they were all really good. The location is good and just a short walk to the town. We had a really great time and would definitely recommend. We hope to go again in the future.

It is a long walk up the hill to return to in the evening after supper in town but when you get there the view and the place is well worth the effort.

An excellent B & B with exceptional facilities, spotlessly clean and hosts that were so friendly and helpful. The B & B is a short walk down the hill to the town and beach so a great location. Breakfast was amazing! Thank you to Jon and Fiona - you really were fabulous hosts and we look forward to visiting again.

The accommodation was very clean and the hosts were very hospitable. Superb breakfast options. The property is at the top of a hill which might prove challenging for others. Parking on site was a bonus (follow the map provided by Fiona and Jon).

Lovely comfortable room with a particularly nice modern bathroom and a nice view over the hills down to the sea. Nice breakfast with generous portions, and they were able to provide nondairy milk and spread for toast. Easy to find and to park. About a twenty minute walk down the hill to the seafront.

The walk back up the hill

Short walk to shops and beach. Hosts were very welcoming and efficient at looking after us.. Lovely breakfasts. Spectacular views and swimming pool. Parking. Nice and clean. Comfy bed and lovely cotton bedding.

Everything. The property is in a great location just out of town but close enough to walk. All amenities provided, & superb to have a pool.

The location wasn’t great as it was at the top of a very steep hill. With traffic and lots of people it made it a difficult walk down to the beach and shops.

The room was spacious and lovely and the property had great facilities and was kept spotless. Parking was great. The breakfast was a good choice and well cooked.
