Suurbritannia8 arvustust„Peaceful cottage in an idyllic location”I found the bed quite hard. Maybe a mattress topper could be available, if needed. But that is a personal preference.
Spacious accommodation for two people, well laid out, furnished and equipped and very practical. Superb views over fields, Roslin Glen and towards the Pentland Hills. The outside space is lovely, with a private good-sized garden and a pretty, flower-filled terrace. Very friendly and cheerful hosts. It's good to have a car to explore the area, but the property is also accessible by public transport (train and bus) and a 12-15 minute walk.

Suurbritannia1 arvustusErakordneVery peaceful and had everything i would need. Board games and a range of books to read if we wanted to. Private garden to enjoy nature and only a short drive or walk to the glen and other nature walks. Also you may get a visit by a friendly cat.

Cosy cottage with large comfortable bed and everything you need for basic meals. Very warm and cosy with excellent heating for Scottish weather plus a beautiful view and enclosed garden. In the stunning Roslin Glen...a real hidden gem of Edinburgh with sensational walks right from the door (so great with a dog) and only 20 mins by train into the city centre from.nearby Eskbank station (much easier than driving). A perfect choice for those looking for a combination of country and city holiday. Rosslyn chapel walking distance away. Not to be missed.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the generous size of the cottage, offering ample space to unwind and feel at home. The interior decoration was a particular highlight, beautifully designed and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Comfort was clearly a priority, and we found the cottage to be exceptionally well-equipped and furnished. One of the standout features was the lovely garden, a true haven of tranquility. It proved to be an excellent addition, especially for those traveling with a dog, offering plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and informative, making us feel instantly at ease. Their helpfulness and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. They were readily available to answer any questions and provided valuable local recommendations.

We would definitely look to stay here again”The cottage could benefit from some more storage options- for instance could use luggage racks or maybe a bathroom shelf for toiletries. The WiFi had some sportiness issue but we were warned about this beforehand by the owners.
The stable cottage was a really good stay. The location was beautiful, had excellent views, was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy, and the owners were very kind. Access to the city is good if you're driving and decent if using public transport.
