Hotel is looking quite dated. All areas of the hotel could use a refurbishment. The pool and spa area especially is in desperate need of a glow up.

Great location. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. Good pool and spa facilities. The view from the room (Junior king suite) was great looking out over the City centre.

The only issue we had was the card not working for most of our stay so had to keep going to reception to ask for someone to let us into the room. They were working on fixing that. It would have been easier to contact reception if the phones outside the elevator and in the rooms were working.

Breakfast was great with a good range of choices. The lady working for breakfast was great at checking the food constantly. Did notice the difference when she was not in one of the days. The rooms were spacious and clean. No complaint. Great location. City centre location. Easy access. I found the staff very helpful and friendly since our arrival which balanced out the inconvenience.

Towel rail far too hot - burnt my hand reaching. Breakfast a little disappointing. - fried eggs hard , bacon difficult to cut.

I would say that there needs to be a little TLC in the rooms - for example the bathroom needs some soap next to the sink and also next to the bath. The spa has the potential to be excellent (as it has spacious facilities), but it needs regular cleaning (mopping up the excess water on a regular basis to prevent slipping).

Staff were outstanding, to the level of 5 star. They could not do enough for customers - they were very well trained in customer service. Of particular note was Robin, who excelled. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything needed and the bathroom was fitted with a bath and a separate shower. The location was excellent, the service was excellent and the hotel facilities very good. The bar and restaurant area were lovely.

The spa was small, fine if you’re planning to stay there and you fancy a quick steam or sauna, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a spa day.

Nothing much per se but Showing its age a little bit in a few areas (noticed a few broken tiles in the bathroom, rust around the shower screen) , old lockers in the spa.

Rooms were nice but had no hairdryer and no soap by the bath, or conditioner. The pool lockers for hotel guests (ie not gym members) were oddly positioned by the Male Changing rooms rather than in Ladies changing room.

I think some of the furniture was a little outdated. The bathroom was a little dirty.

The location was really good it was central to everything which was good. All the staff that we encountered were all lovely and very friendly. The spa area was also really good.
