The front door didn’t shut securely without locking it which is unsafe for dogs/young children. A gate/fence at the front would finish property off perfectly for dogs/young children. Noisy road but that can’t be helped; such a shame as the view is just beautiful!

The property was well equipped had everything you need for your stay. The views were beautiful every day waking up to them was lovely, we sat up on the added outhouse to watch the sunset. The beds were really comfortable we all slept well during our stay at the Dyfi Hideaway its a gem of a place , I would recommend going to a supermarket before arriving as it is a fair way out for a good food shop, we did get lost trying to find the property but we put in the dovey station and we found it well after that was a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone , take a short drive to the lovely waterfall we had a cold dip in it was lovely

The cottage was lovely. The bed was super comfy. The shower is hot and powerful. The projector screen was amazing, and the views were beautiful.

A beautiful and thoughtfully decorated cottage that’s incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The open-plan kitchen and living area were ideal for socialising — we celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The space is fully equipped for self-catering, with a spacious fridge and a double oven and a cosy log burner. The views from both the living room and the sun house are absolutely stunning, overlooking the estuary and a nearby nature reserve. It’s in a fantastic location for exploring Aberdyfi, Aberystwyth, the osprey project, and many other local attractions. There are also lovely dog walks right from the doorstep. The hosts were warm and helpful, with great communication throughout — always quick to respond and happy to answer all my questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

The main road, although the stunning scenery and exceptional comfort more than made up for it. It went quiet in the evenings and when inside it didn’t really matter

This property is an absolute gem! Beautifully restored and in a fantastic location overlooking the wetlands with the mountains so picturesque in the background. There are some great walking routes in the local area that we were able to enjoy despite miserable weather. It was lovely to have the log fire and projector screen in the evenings for a cozy movie night. The external cabin is a lovely spot for a morning coffee where you can really enjoy the views. It’s the ideal property for family and group stays with great communal areas and spacious bedrooms. Will definitely be rebooking for the summer!

Nothing really to fault with the property or the facilities. I couldn’t find any oven gloves which would’ve been helpful although maybe I just didn’t see them! The property is right next to a road which is fairly busy during the day so if you’re taking a pooch that isn’t well trained, make sure they’re kept on a lead when leaving the cottage. I thought the traffic might be distracting at night but the road was very quiet from 8pm onwards.

The view was stunning and the accommodation had everything you could want. We really liked the Cinema Projector and the log burner.

The only thing we didn't like was the noise of the traffic in the morning. We were up early because we had a little toddler with us so it wasn't too bad.

Location and view from master bedroom is probably best feature of this holiday home.

Internal kitchen cabinets were not clean. Bins in kitchen were very smelly, limited bin liners. Oven doors were full of greasy marks, off putting and unclean. Kitchen island work surfaces not clean. Wine cooler not working. Frying pans unclean and greasy. TV big screen projector over heats and causes crackling on screen. Sonos speaker in living room not working. Patio door windows were very unclean, greasy and dirty. Bathroom linens were dirty, lucky we brought our own. Shower doors unclean. Under Toilet seat was unclean. Master bedroom mattress topper was grubby. Parking with a very narrow payment walk to holiday home at night with dogs, children and luggage isn't the easiest access. Inside of summer house was very dirty and no lighting. Was charged additional £20 dog fee after paying in full, despite one of the hosts informing us that there is no dog fee to pay, to later be told by other host there is additional fee charges for our two tiny dogs. Overall we were quiet disappointed with our stay. Its a lovely property but we felt its massively being neglected and needs a little bit of love...or maybe better domestic staff.

Exceptional from booking to check-out! The hosts are quick to respond to any queries prior to arrival and the information pack and arrival info prior to arrival is excellent. The cottage is very nicely decorated, perfect for a couple or for up to 6 guests. We loved the home cinema system, log burner, modern kitchen with coffee machine and the hosts even left a little welcome hamper for us - so thoughtful. Even staying during a storm, the views were spectacular and was a great place for us to stay for a conference in nearby C.A.T, with the kids - Corris is nearby and we stop at springtime every year to see the Ospreys at the nearby wildlife centre. We'd love to return in the spring or summer and take advantage of the beautiful walks nearby - this cottage is a great base, cosy and just perfect!

Nothing at all - a lot of thought and attention has gone into this cottage.

We loved everything about this stunning property. Cleanliness, the quality of furniture and appliances. View is amazing. We received all the information regarding our stay from owner the day before our arrival ( very well done for the info pack) They left us a lovely welcome hamper with wine and cakes😋. We can't wait to return.
