Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

House was smaller than I expected, but to be fair, hosts had made the most of every available inch of space. Only downside really was the proximity to the busy railway line - quite noisy if windows open, but we used the fans provided which really helped. House was relatively expensive given the size, but we booked for a stay during Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and ACDC gig, which no doubt pushed prices up.
House was exceptionally well equipped - hosts had thought of everything. Including touches like soaps, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Provided excellent electric fans in each bedroom. Towels and bedding of very good quality.

It was very warm to sleep because no AC and it was a very warm day when we stayed there.
Great apartment: cozy, modern. Nice backyard to relax, has fans in each room, very clean.

Only small issue, no instructions to operate the cooker, took a short while but finally managed it.
Spotlessly clean, lovely deco, home from home,everything you need is there and parking very easy. Unfortunately we were only there for one night so didn’t get to see much of Linlithgow which looks like it’s got lots to see especially around the loch, maybe we will come back one day.

I thought the house was a little small to host 4 people. And it took me ages to get the shower water to the right temperature.
A very cute small town, close to the airport. Unfortunately, I arrived very late and didn't find anything open to get some food. But overall, the house served our needs - to pass the night near the airport.

Beds and living room furniture were a bit hard. A mattress topper was available for one bed which was beneficial.
Spotlessly clean home within walking distance to city center. Nice fenced area outside for relaxing. Location is great for a last day in Scotland. The drive to the Edinburgh airport was less than thirty minutes.

The property was lovely and very easy to locate. We were attending a wedding nearby so the location was ideal. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and we can’t fault the property or the service.

This property is lovely very homely and clean. The hosts provide evweythibg you need towels stuff for tea and coffee cleaning products Wi-Fi smart tv lovely outdoor area. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

This comment is very marginal. As the place suits 5 people maximum, an additional toilet downstairs could have helped.
we were 3 bicycle riders, came with our bikes in boxes. Piotr kept the boxes for us until we returned. Thank you for that. This is not trivial. The apartment was sparkling clean with fresh smell everywhere. Large rooms and comfortable beds. The neighborhood very quiet and 15 minutes walk to the town center. Kitchen fully equipped. Nice back yard to enjoy if warm. Piotr also arranged a sleeping space in the living room. I have visited Linlithgow more than 10 times in the past, this has been our best accommodation. We will certainly come back again!

No walk in shower and my prefence for a softer bed
Very clean property with lovely setup in rear garden for any smokers as it has a canopy with seating. Located in a quiet pleasant area with more than ample parking and close to town centre.
