Fantastic weekend break and this retreat was a real gem. Great location, easy to find and so peaceful. The facilities were stunning- spotlessly clean- with stylish, high end furnishings. Emily was a great host, really helpful and checked in on us over our stay. Would 100% go back. Wonderful ❤️

Garden was a bit overgrown and the bed was too small for us with not enough pillows. A king size would have made all of the difference.

A great place in a lovely location. Beautiful soft furnishings, and well equipped kitchen.

The bed is a standard double so smallish, but still very comfortable with nice bedding.

Ellie was very friendly and responsive to questions. The check in was easy via the lockbox. There is a BBQ on the patio and a fire pit in the ‘meadow’. Good WiFi. Overall a very comfortable stay.

A lovely cottage that very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Well situated to visit lots of places and a lovely private garden to enjoy. The owners were very considerate (loved the fresh eggs!) and we would certainly stay here again.

Sharper knives and a caffetiere would be a good addition. The sofa wasn't very comfortable.

A very spacious living area and bedroom with a lovely outdoor area in pretty countryside, great for cycling and walking. There's plenty to do in the area including Lacock Abbey & Bath. The cottage was well equipped, including a washing machine.

Lovely complex, very high standard throughout. Super good value for money. Gorgeous remote rural location. Our 2 niggles were... Bed too small and uncomfortable, the linen felt too rough and coarse. The security/outside lighting couldn't be switched off, I would have liked to enjoy the dark skies stargazing.

Property is clean and tidy, high standard furnishings and decor finished to a good standard also. There is plenty of space inside and outside property and is located in a very peaceful and quiet area. A short drive to the picturesque village of Castle Combe and the City of Bath is located a short drive also. The host is welcoming and very friendly.

    Literally nothing we didnt like.

The house was lovely, little features like a bottle of fresh milk were adorable, location incredible waking up to birds, horses, chickens, and everyone saying good morning as you hike. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and kitchen everything is thought out to be usable and just homie from the outset.Honestly it was more than we could ask for. Thanks to the hosts for everything, we hope to stay again for longer :)

Lovely cottage in truly peaceful and green location, nice quality, comfortable, fire-pit was great!!

The only negative I have are the plastic plants, being a gardener they are a particular hatred of mine. The shower did leak a bit onto the bathroom floor also.

We really loved the cottage and had such a nice break. Was a perfect very quiet location in the Cotswold's countryside. Extremely peaceful and so green, felt like a hideout in a jungle sitting in the living room. The firepit was a real bonus and was so nice sitting out there at night listening to the wildlife. We also used the barbeque everyday so really appreciated that too. You would need a car to visit this particular getaway, but it was a really good location nearby to various pretty Cotswolds villages and countryside, but far away from any main roads so was so peaceful, and dark at night, even saw a shooting star. The cottage was very well equipped, very pleasant and quality décor, the cottage was also extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so nice, I now want to get myself some French Linen sheets :D So nice to wake up to birds singing and wind rustling through the trees, did not want to return to London.

Getting to the location requires a small narrow road. So need to be very careful. Mattress is a bit soft. Fantastic property and close by to Bristol and Castle combe village.

Lovely clean house with beautiful cosy decor. Very helpful. The owner left some milk and tea bags for us, which came handy as we arrived late evening.

Would have preferred a queen-sized bed - everything else was just perfect.

Perfect location for exploring Bath, Bristol & all the quaint towns nearby. You can even walk to Castle Combe, if you are so inclined! Peaceful and spacious, with the bonus of a lovely backyard space to take a break from all the tourist crowds! Very well-equipped and comfortable - had all the kitchen basics so we could easily cook a few meals without having to buy absolutely everything. Lots of windows so you can enjoy fresh air day and night if you wish (and weather permits!)… Ellie provided a great list of recommendations and was very helpful & accessible.

    Nothing-Loved it all

My husband and I spent one night in this beautifully converted, spacious, and comfortable barn. It was a perfect space to spend some relaxation time. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including some well thought out touches such as bath robes and a bottle of fizz. Lovely patio area to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Our host, Ellie was great- friendly, helpful, and prompt with communication. we had a lovely time and can't wait to return for longer next time.

Good property in a quiet location but comfort disrupted by aggressive house flies.

There were a lot of flies in the main living space. We sprayed every day before going out but they kept returning. They kept biting which really prevented us from relaxing properly in the evenings. Property was generally clean so not sure what attracted the flies - potentially the cedar cladding, or the fact the property is a converted stable. No baking trays or fish slice for the oven.

Spacious with good facilities. Host arranged a high chair and summer bedding for us at short notice. Nice and quiet location which felt private despite proximity of neighboring properties.
