Absolutely loved our Stay The Shepards Hut and Bathroom was Spotless and So comfortable, Loved the homemade scones and it was pure peace and Tranquility, It was so lovely to meet The Doggies and enjoyed there visits ,Tilly the cat took a liking to my son he was made up We will definitely be back 10/10 Love Jannette & George

Location - stunning views. Shepherds hut had basic kitchen equipment and tea/coffee supplies plus extra bits like blankets & scones. Private bathroom is a short walk from the hut.

Lovely cosy shepherds hut with great views and with small herd of sheep to make this more authentic. Has own dedicated bathroom hut nearby and shower works fine.

We were woken up by a car/s passing by twice and what seemed to be at speed, at around 11pm. This was likely the neighbouring hut's residents and out of the owners hands (perhaps a sign asking for quiet after a certain time might help a little 🤷🏼‍♀️). . It could do with a blind on the window in the bathroom, my daughter didn't want to shower because there was nothing covering it. Ps didn't bother us but rabbits could be seen to pop in and out from under the neighbouring hut. Otherwise, all good 🙂

The location is lovely and the sheep and cat were very friendly, my daughter especially liked them! The hut is very solid, well laid out and deceptively roomy. The bathroom, equally so. It was easy because of self check in, no struggle to get keys etc. and you can arrive when it suits.

Very nicely presented hut, clean and quirky inside and out. Lovely welcome pack including home made scones. The bed is very comfortable, great nights sleep with soothing countryside background sounds. The hut has its own designated bathroom a few steps away, again clean with everything we needed. All round a special and enjoyable stay, would defiantly book again. One thing, not in any way a criticism, it is a bit tricky to find. The directions are very good however would suggest doing a bit of homework on google maps / earth before visiting to make things easier.

This was a lovely shepherd's hut. Very comfortable. Separate shower/toilet block which gave more space in the hut. Well equipped. Great location, very quiet. Nice outdoor space

We had a wonderful two night stay in the Shepherd’s Hut. Carole & Andy were perfect charming hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We loved the views from the hut into their fields full of sheep. The hut is very comfortable and really well equipped. We hope to return one day.

Nothing to dislike… but what would have been nice was to have a fenced off area for the dog to be off lead. Three sides of the hut were fenced, a fourth side would be perfect.

This place was spot on. Very secluded location on farmland but only a mile walk to nearest village, pub ect (15-20 mins walk) Great self check in set up to access the shepherds hut and nice and cosy inside with a patio and chairs to enjoy the Sun outside (pretty much in the sun all day) Good basic facilities inside the hut such as a microwave, small fridge and kettle, cups and cutlery ect.... Toilet, shower ect in seperate hut right next to the accommodation, all spotless. Added bonus that a few domestic and farm yard animals come and say hello within there fenced off boundaries. Would definitely recommend. Very cheap and cheerful with friendly owners who leave you to it

Great experience in a lovely little hut. The farm works around you and you wake up to the sound of sheep in the fields next to you. The facilities are simple but clean and all you need. Surprisingly good shower!

Superb location, with fantastic views. It is a great place to relax with great access to the lake district. The hosts are super friendly and provide an excellent facility.
