Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Honestly, there was nothing at all that I didn’t like – everything was perfect.
Amazing stay – highly recommended! I absolutely loved everything about my stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Heatwave in London. Whole apartment was boiling hot. Even with a massive loud fan supplied it was so hot. There was 3 in total supplied. One didn't work.
Everything was fine. Kitchen great and modern ,beds comfortable and enough storage space, living room area and TV great. Bathroom nice.

Nowadays, even London can be very hot in summer. In the apartment there is a fan in every sleeping room and a big one in the living/kitchen room, which help a lot, but air conditioning (not present) would be decisively better.
The location was perfect for our needs. The building is very near (5 minute walk) to Enfield Town railway station, which is very well connected to London. Just a few stations from Enfield Town there is the Tottnham Hotspur Stadium, so the apartment is perfect if someone has to attend an event there. The host owns an apartment in the building (which has many others), which was quiet and clean.

I didn't like that slippers weren't provided, all the white socks stayed dirty, unfortunately when flying from the EU to the UK, there was no transition provided for the socket, I had to go buy them myself
Overall, I recommend it, good price, good location to the stadium where Beyonce's concert took place, but if you want to see the most popular places in London, you have to drive quite far

The bedroom floor was water damaged with flooring uneven, wet when you walked on it, and dangerous as it caught your foot. Meant it smelt damp. Kettle lid didn't fasten properly, so I had to be careful. There are no instructions on anything, especially regarding WiFi or TV usage.
Location was perfect for a trip to London and loved that the parking was secure! Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Owner was very responsive when there was an issue.

As always perfect stay .. Barbara is the bestiest amazing host I saw in this industry , for a good understander don’t need to say anything else… apartments spotless , all amenities, cross the road find everything you need spacious very cozy … loved highly recommend by me and my husband

It was difficult getting in. The person who met us with the keys on main reception didn’t tell us the accommodation was in a different block with a different entrance door. It took us a lot of wasted time trying to find the flat. They should have told us in the first place where to enter the accommodation.
Very clean with great facilities. Spacious and well maintained.

The water pressure in the apartment wasn't great, but I think that as just because there was some works going on in the area
Someone met us at reception to give us the keys and parking permit, we didn't need to wait long at all. Free parking in the car park, which was very handy. Comfy beds and en-suite bathroom with heated floor.

The arrival process. It is a large complex with underground parking. On arrival it was not at all clear where to park or how to get a key. I got into the car park and then went to reception, there was no one present. I spoke to the contact who said that she would find security to assist and I should wait for someone to leave the building to obtain entry. I got into the building and then was advised to look In a cupboard for an envelope with a key and parking pass. I eventually found the key in the cupboard and then eventually got into the flat with two tired kids after a stressful 4 hour journey. Not enough instruction or assistance. The other thing that was bizarre was the tv was on the wall on a fixed bracket due to this it was very difficult to plug a hdmi in and the sofa was to the left of the tv and viewing was not great.
Good location right in the centre of Enfield Town. Ideal for getting to Spurs ground for the football on sat. Good range of shops, pubs and restaurants very close. Property was clean and well furnished and ideal for a family.
