Lovely base to explore Uist. House was clean, spacious, well equipped, on a quiet estate, even had milk, butter, bread and biscuits left for us by the host. My son especially loved the giant sofa! And sky tv! I slept 11 hours most nights because the bed was so comfy! Also, excellent check in instructions from the host. We had a lovely stay thankyou :)

The gardens back and front could do with being cut.

This property was very comfortable. It was central for exploring the island. This property had everything you need and is close to local shops and restaurants.

A nice clean 3 bedroom house with good views over the fields at the back and very friendly and responsive staff. Sharon and the team went out of their way to help us out when needed.

Cosy, very clean, everything you could need whilst there available in the house. The Host was lovely to communicate with, we had no problems at all and hope to return when we can! Truly surpassed our expectations!

The only negative I could really give this place was the garden at the rear was a little scruffy. Would benefit from a bit landscaping.

This was a good hub for us as we were up fishing. Beds were comfy, house had pretty much everything you would need and it was clean If returning up this way again for another fishing trip would probably use again.

The sentence about love on the wall in one of the bed rooms - our understanding of love is a different one.

The well equipped and spacey kitchen; to see that everything in the house was made in a way to make the guests feel comfortable; the colors (walls - such a good idea!); the tranquility of the place (and the surroundings); we liked it to stay in an area where (ordinary) people live !!!

The dining room table was only big enough for 4 people, with 4 chairs. But the house sleeps 7. A bigger dining table and chairs would be great.

very roomy, a real comfortable home from home , beds where all excellent , we all had our own towels provided, really good big tv in the lounge , we where delighted with our stay. couldn’t fault anything.

If I was to be really fussy the only negative would be there is a pond in the garden filled with quite stagnant water and as our daughter has cystic fibrosis this isn't ideal for her so we could not use the otherwise beautiful garden . But others would not have the same issue.

Our stay at taigh nam piobaireach was exceptional from beginning to end. To start with the communication and service from the host was superb. The house was lovely and clean with exceptional facilities throughout. The welcome pack was a particularly nice touch. And the beds were super comfy.

Really nice place, good location close to local shop & central for exploring the islands. Nice & spacious rooms, comfy beds & the kitchen has all you’d need plus a fridge with ice machine which was a bonus. Fantastic decking area out the back as well for when the sun comes out. Ticks all the boxes for everything you need for a trip up to the Hebrides. Will definitely return if up this way in the future.
