Just one fault with the disability bathroom. The wooden board under the door is chamfered on the outside but not on the inside. This creates a trip hazard and I stubbed my toe causing lots of pain and bruising.

Good location and easy to find. EV chargers on site. Good food and friendly staff.

A little out of centre, but only making this comment because I was hiking the North Wales Pilgrimage Way and I didn’t want to walk any further than I had to that day!

Nice room, comfy bed. Reception staff, cleaning lady. Food on site.

There was no shower gel, had to use hand wash when showering. I messaged through booking.com app to provide this after check in and was not responded to. Our other room had hardly any shower gel. It’s not acceptable. The bathroom could have been better renovated and nicer it was very basic and showing signs of maintenance needed. Carpet could do with an extraction clean as was a bit sticky. Just improving these things would make the hotel much better.

Well located for onward travel to Conwy or Llandudno at a better price. Rooms of good size. Quiet at night and bed was fairly comfortable. Easy check in.

Website said dining until 9pm, which was incorrect.

Talardy was just off the freeway and easily accessible with ample free parking.

I had advised them that I would check in both rooms between 5 and 6, which was confirmed by them, however we had to wait a little while for a member of staff to respond to our arrival. We ordered our food by 7.30 but our main meal was served, after chasing up about it, after 9. Quite late really, especially as we had 2 children with us. Some of us had been looking forward to a roast dinner, however when we were first seated at 7pm, they told us they had run out of Beef and Turkey and only had Pork left. When we went to the bar to order our food though, we were only then informed that the Roast dinners finished at 7. I made two bookings but only 1 of them was credited with a discount. This comment is for Booking.com rather than the Talardy.

The gentleman who attended to us (in response to us waiting at the bar) also helped with amending our reservation, for 8 people to 10 instead and then served us at the bar with drinks. I wished I had taken his name, as he was very helpful.

A bit far from any shops or restaurants. Shower was annoying with the shower head stuck to the wall and didn’t have soap in shower.

Nice big room with comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good and not expensive.

A little disappointed on arrival by the appearance of the building, as a lone traveler I was concerned. This was soon rectified by the warm welcome at reception and when I realised my room was in the new building at the rear. The room was comfortable good air con, bathroom was very clean, toilet flush kept filling but couldn’t hear it when the bathroom door was closed. The bed was comfortable, overall it was a positive stay and if in the area I would consider staying again no frills but clean and comfortable

I didn’t have breakfast, dinner on arrival was ok, good variety on the menu. What I chose may not have been the best option, it felt like a microwave ready meal

Bit disappointed that it wasn't of the same standard as our previous visit. What a difference 12 months can make. The restaurant seemed under-staffed and had an issue with one of the meals.

It's in a convenient location, close to the A55.
