Love everything about Apple Rooms/Loft

Lovely choice of breakfast, maybe cost slightly more than expected but quality outwayed the difference. We have no complaints. Usually would have stayed next rmdoor in rooms but treated ourselves to Loft with lovely views.

A little more expensive compared to some of our stays but a prime location so expected.

Booked last minute as an overnight stop over as we were doing a half marathon nearby. Location was great, room was comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Really friendly helpful staff, special mention for Yvette who went above and beyond. Delicious breakfasts in the cafe downstairs with great service. This is our 4th stay here and we will return.

Only downside to the room was the lack of hanging space for clothes. Even though we were only there 2 nights would've been good to hang clothes up. Instead I just used the chair for a chairdrobe.

Great location, amazing view from the room, free parking a short walking distance away, price felt very good value for money, drying room, bonus 10% off in the Apple Pie bakery was appreciated - one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Spoiler - loved the gingerbread left in the room. Will certainly look to book again!

The choice of cooked breakfast. You could not substitute anything just leave out what you didn’t want which wasn’t good value for money. However the toasted bath bun I had on the third morning was lovely as were the cup cakes my daughter ordered for my birthday.

The location was excellent the room was lovely with a beautiful view and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Apple Loft was a lovely place to stay in Ambleside. The location was central, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and was well equipped. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the ground coffee and cafetière, milk in the fridge and delicious gingerbread.

The check in time of 15.00pm was a little late and did not leave us much time to enjoy the room as much as we would of liked. We understand this is the same with a lot of accommodations, but with a check out time of 10.00am then an earlier check in time should be possible.

The accommodation was central in the village, and the view from the large window was exceptional. The small fridge was ideal for a few bottles of water and a bottle of wine.

Fantastic location in the centre of Ambleside. Spacious room, beautifully styled. The bed was really comfortable. Full marks for a full size kettle and big mugs! For 2 avid tea drinkers this makes the most welcome change from the tiny hotel kettles and cups usually found in accommodation. Spacious shower and modern bathroom. We loved our stay.

The Location was wonderful. Right in the heart of the town so all the local restaurants ,pubs and shops were within easy walking distance..The view from our window was of the bridge house in Ambleside with the fells in the background. It was iconic and the owners had set 2 chairs in front of the wide expansive window so you could sit in comfort and watch the world go by. The room was spacious ,clean and welcoming.

It wasn’t a big issue but limited parking on site (there is an overflow 5mins away if needed). Shower a little cool but still tucked all the boxes.
