Local, clean, friendly staff

Breakfast not early enough Very long wait for food at both restaurants

Good location and check in time. Breakfast is adequate - note you have to make own toast and the hot breakfast is laid out and not freshly cooked to order.

Bed Mattress tired - Bedroom carpet tired and a nail pointing up on side of bed coming out of carpet. Toilet seat slips. Hot water came out of the cold tap - and hot out of the hot. Window could not be opened.

The mattresses are very old, in some rooms the curtains don't go over the top of the window so, bring an eye mask. I can feel the springs in the mattresses. Housekeeping left their keys in my door and left the room door ajar all day which is very unsafe. If you want a drink at the bar just expect it to take an age.

Good location easy for ferry terminal and buses and town centre,friendly staff, slightly old fashioned room but clean, decent 3 star hotel

Ideal location, middle of town centre. Clean and tidy. Good meals, standard hotel meals, with a choice of restaurants even an italian. Dirty linen was taken away and clean towels brought next day.

In tower room of hotel, due to weather was a bit too warm. Had to open windows, but due to music festival, quite noisy from hotel area outside eg picnic tables / sitting area. Only one key was supplied so if one person decides to go to hotel room, the other had to wait until the other came back. Rickety lift.

One room booked was no bigger than a broom closet. Quality and choice of drinks in bar could be a lot better, food only okay would not rush to eat there again

The room, mould in bathroom tiles, carpet seen better days, mattress very old, duvet grey and smells, not much matched but when you are in an attic in such a small place, it's not rocket science to have it looking good.
