Good location, good standard of decor, good standard of cleanliness,

single bed matresses are not good for adults you can feel the boards underneath, setee very low, and too soft (hard to get up from sitting) could do with an additional small towel each, all bed pillows were soft, would be nice to have a choice of firmer pillows too.

90% was of good standard, we loved the conservatory and the french doors in kitchen,,on suite, and second bathroom, heating worked well,

It was not clear on the booking page that the car charger was an optional extra and would not just work. There were no instructions with it, so I plugged my car in overnight and was surprised in the morning to find that it had not charged. Sarah did reply to my text to say that I would need a card to use the charger, but I decided not to risk it. I took the car to a public car park to charge it whilst visting Wells.

Good accommodation with a well appointed kitchen and a few small supplies / treats provided on arrival including a pint of milk which was really appreciated. Fantastic garden which you could look out at from the kitchen/diner and the conservatory. Modern bathrooms.

Didn't like that we couldn''t stay longer

Sarah is the most charming, warm and welcoming host you could have. The cottage is perfect. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Great attention to detail making it so comfortable. She even provided milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and strawberries to name but a few of the provisions (also radio and binoculars for bird watching). It's a real treat to spend time in the garden and there's a great playground just behind the house. The village of Axbridge is delightful boasting 2 pubs, coffeeshop, pharmacy and a little museum. The location is perfect with easy access into Cheddar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you Sarah!

    Nothing

Everything! The Hideaway is very well presented. The kitchen is beautiful, log burner in lounge is lovely, garden is huge and very pretty. It has the comfiest seats in the conservatory! A great location in a quiet village with all necessities and is close to places like Cheddar Gorge and Weston Super-mare. Host was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. My 2 children (10 and 12) loved it, loved having their own ensuite bathroom and the park out the back and wanted to come back before we even left! We will definietly be booking to stay again, hopefully in warmer sunnier weather!
