The pod was much smaller than I had expected. I have stayed in pods before and this is by far the tiniest. But, enough space for me and small dog for a couple of days.

The pod was clean and cozy and had everything needed for a short stay. It was easy to find and off street parking was tight but available. Beautiful view over farm land to the ocean from the front of the pod . Love that it is dog friendly

The mattress on the bed has seen better days. We both woke up with a sore back. We couldn't open the window for a through breeze, so it was a bit damp and stuffy in there. Difficult to avoid when it's raining all day though.

For the size of the place, it was surprisingly practical to cook in the kitchen nook. 3 of us were preparing the meal and it worked really well. Watching Tv and eating at the table were also good for 3 of us. The heater was super efficient. After 5 minutes on, we turned it off again as the place was so warm. Great tv viewing choice too. The place was also clean.

Quite difficult to find, no real indication from the host, no communication (too bad), the water is tricky to manage (always hot or too hot from tap,and the shower was a bit unpredictable), bed and bathroom a bit too tiny but fine for one night.

Very clean, well equipped, with everything you need, very nice view, well heated whenever you need it.

Although compact, it had almost anything you could need. Some really nice touches, and outstanding view.

Needed a little TLC, could do with fresh woodstain for pod & picnic bench. Mirror not fixed to wall. Pod better for short stays. Nowhere to store clothes.

The location was great, just a few miles from Stornoway & a great base to explore Lewis & Harris. Beautiful beaches close by. Fabulous view from the pod. Very peaceful. We stayed for 5 nights & found the pod very cosy & comfortable. Facilities were good for cooking simple meals. Shower was nice & hot but cubicle quite small. Good sized fridge freezer. Local shop/ post office open long hours & well stocked.

The shower hot water did not work well ended up taking a very quick cold shower. The parking was tricky getting out

Overpriced compared to other properties we stayed in on the outer hebrides. The setting was let down by the state of the neighbouring properties. Nowhere to hang wet coats.

A well equipped pod, almost too well when space is at a premium. Good for a couple on a short stay.

A bit out of the way, was on my bike and it was further out of Stornoway than I had thought. Lots of hills to master to get there. No problem with a car though.

Very nice little pod, perfect for one or two people, great views onto the sea, has everything you need, even a microwave and cooking facilities, the owner was very helpful in finding a taxi and answering my questions, was able to put my bike into the garage.

The sign at the road side was hidden behind a car, and being dark on arrival (ie after 4pm) it was incredibly difficult to find the pod. The microwave was awkward for me to use as I had to lift it every time from a low shelf to a higher shelf to use it and I have a bad back It connected via an extension cable which could only reached from the upper shelf.

It was VERY clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and bottled water all supplied. Thoughtfully left plenty towels PLUS a flannel and basic toiletries. Heating was easy to operate. Proper black out curtain and blind. Peaceful place to retreat from the world for a few days

There was nothing I disliked, if I had to find something it would be the lighting on the way to the pod was a bit hit and miss with being solar powered but a torch solved that problem.

Marie was great, got a text almost immediately after booking letting me know when the pod would be ready. The gear in the pod was brilliant, it was clean, comfy and easy to find.

One small suggestion: there should be a signboard on the road. It took us about 15 minutes to find the place after reaching the map location Marie provided.

The location is excellent, and Marie is truly wonderful. I messaged her about my wife's birthday, and she went out of her way to arrange flowers and a cake. It was a lovely surprise — her thoughtfulness made the day even more special. Thank you, Marie!

Everything! It is literally equipped with every home comfort you could imagine. As a father and teenage son who had been camping on the Hebridean Way, this place was very much needed as a bit of luxury before travelling home. Perfect. The host (Marie) was ever so helpful and provided great thought out little touches to make our stay so good.
