Lovely, peaceful location. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us the apartment and the outside terrace by the pond. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast (so thoughtful!) and the living/bedroom space very comfortable! Loved the advice on local pubs too.

The only thing that could be improved upon is having some black out curtains on the window opposite the bed.

An absolutely gorgeous location with views of a stunning pond (and a heron every morning!). The lodge was everything you could need - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our hosts were so warm and welcoming and we loved the treats left for us in the kitchen. Hope to come back again.

The name of Bamboo Lodge is not yet so popular to the residents there, except for Google system, and so it was found when asked them at several places there in search. "The Pond House", as listed at the name-plate seems more popular.

We enjoyed self-catering breakfast with selecting stocked items, freely with our own schedule, this is good and nice experiance in spacy and nice separate lodge! Richard and the wife are very kind at our enquiries and Richard solved our difficulties to start up of the navigation sytem (Tom-Tom?) installed in French Peugeot Car from very beggining. The system is completely different and we have never experinced in Japan!! Thanks to Richard's help, its made quite change to our trip to quite enjyable one!

So peaceful here and a great location to explore Kent. The little lodge is modern, chic and tasteful in a studio style. Don't buy any breakfast as ample is provided as is milk. Richard and Nathalie are attentive, friendly but also discreet hosts. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful.

Nothing, it exceeded all expectations.

The location was beautiful and peaceful, it was great to have the bench by the pond to sit on. The accommodation was perfect, couldn't have asked for more. Everything was excellent quality, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was lovely, the log burner was a fantastic, the kitchen was well equipped. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to return, we have found our new happy place!

There was nothing to dislike about the property. The only thing that may improve it would be a sign to the actual location off the main road as this was a bit confusing when first arriving at the property.

The location was peaceful and the breakfast selection was outstanding! Definitely a place I would stay again, great value for money. The hosts were really friendly and talked through everything on my arrival. They were easy to get hold of when I needed to and friendly throughout the whole stay.

Care is needed when rising from the bed, because of the sloping ceiling. The bathroom mirror is a bit too high for those of small stature - a full length mirror would be useful!

Lots of choice provided for breakfast, very comfortable bed in beautiful apartment with fine view of the bamboo lake, and resident heron! Very tranquil.
