Check in time was a bit late at 5pm, although we did get in an hour early at 4pm. Checkout time of 10am was a bit early too. Couldn’t find light switches to turn off some wall lights and we found the sofas in the lounge particularly low and too firm. The lounge also smelled of soot all the time, a downside to the inglenook. These are all minor points and wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Stunning location, quiet and clean. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and glasses. The beds were all really comfortable and the decor was quirky but calm. The house was full of stunning features such as inglenook fireplace and stone windows with window seats.

Facilities and comfort were very good. House was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

The key secure box was actually open on arrival and was quite difficult to shut when we went out.

Location just right for a nearby family wedding Spacious rooms (apart from the ensuite bathroom)

A lovely house let down a little by internal details but we would go again.

Some furnishings were getting a bit tired; the ensuite bedroom duvet cover was not large enough for the duvet and the bed was extremely soft. There was a significant step into the bathroom where the shower shelf was missing and there were no cleaning implements for the toilets. Kitchen place mats and sofa arms have seen better days. No mobile signal in the house but the internet connection was faultless.

An attractive, large Cotswold house set in a quiet, pretty but small village. Large garden suitable for children. Kitchen was well equipped. Pub within walking distance Wed to Sun.

However the whole place felt quite tired and in need of a really deep clean.  The accommodation could really do with a sign on the gate/front of the house to make sure you've definitely got the right place.  There were no dishwasher tablets or soap in the showers which we expected as it was listed, and we couldn't find any extra bedding/pillows and towels. We all had incredibly thick duvets which were too hot to sleep under, so some blankets for other bedding options would have been helpful. The ironing board and iron were dirty, it marked one of the guests shirts he was wearing for the wedding we were attending. The sofa and chairs were heavily soiled and the bedding and towels felt like we were staying in a teenage boys room.  Just feels like the place needs a little more attention to detail for the price we paid. We also felt the 4pm check in was quite late, and we asked to check out at 12pm rather than the early 10am, but we were told Mondays were their busiest days so it wasn't doable, which didn't really make much sense. If time is tight, maybe another accomodation could be prioritised to clean first when asked.  Overall it was nice, but needs a mega clean and an update.

6 of us stayed for 2 nights as we were at a wedding nearby at Stone Barn. The accommodation was really roomy, the oven excellent for that amount of people and great showers.
