Lovely cottage that has recently been renovated and was equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, gave us advice on things to do and even set up the bbq for us to use one evening. Leintwardine village has a few shops and pubs and is a short drive from bigger towns such as Ludlow.

Accommodation and location

Loved our stay at The Barrels: Karen and Andy were welcoming and friendly and it was great for us all to share their amazing garden (we played boules and badminton and our dogs could not believe their luck), the accommodation was clean and very comfortable and the location great for walks, pubs, good village shop, and a good spot to explore from = would really recommend it.

Parking slightly on the tight side but nothing unmanageable. If bringing more than one car, would recommend having at least one small one.

Fantastic location, just up the road from local amenities. Andy and Karen were brilliant and friendly hosts. The house itself was perfect for our needs and really well put together.

Road noise. Pillows need attention. A few more kitchen items would make a big difference. A measuring jug, a bowl to reheat stuff in the microwave and a bread or chopping board.

Very comfortable, warm accomadation in a beautiful location. It was lovely to meet Andy and Karen, our hosts, who couldn't have been more helpful. Leintwardine is a friendly village that has two great pubs, both being easy to walk to from the property. We took our two dogs and enjoyed doing some amazing hikes with stunning scenery. We will definitely be back.

Handily situated for Leominster Hereford and Ludlow. Good sized rooms and bathroom. Every utensil you could think of in the kitchen. Lovely fish and chips from the shop in the village (200yds). Room to park 2 cars.
