Not a fan of self-checkin (but it worked fine), busy street intersection, bathroom was a bit cramped.

Reasonably priced, good communication from management since they use self-checkin, short walk to a city bus, & small store across the street.

Just the bedside table thing above.

We were in Canterbury for a cricket match, so brilliantly located. 20 mins walk into town - perfect. Lovely rooms, staff and a really nice continental breakfast. I would have given 10 except there wasn't a bedside table or light on my side of the bed so I couldn't read. A lovely place to stay and would definitely return.

We had room 3 which was adjacent to the road. The downside being, the windows were single glazed and it was generally busy and noisy!

The room and bed were comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The walk into the city centre was about 20 minutes.

B&B had added security straps to windows so room felt airless on hot days - no through draught. I accept the stairs are quite old but they were very tiring to climb. After entering property reception area very gloomy and uninviting.

V Comfortable bed, large room with TV and fan. Quality towels and good shower. Excellent continental breakfast. Staff on hand to address queries (one of the coffee machines appeared not to be working) AND one key fob did not open front door!

    Fabulous place to stay

We were pleased there was parking but sadly only 4 spaces. I believe there are 6 rooms. When we arrived, there were non available and we trawled the roads around and about, looking for a space. These showed we needed a parking pass, although as we found out later, no one monitors these roads. We didn't want to risk it, so after much effort and stress levels rising, we parked on a park and ride for 2 nights, about 20 minutes walk away. Breakfast great but the fresh bananas never looked very inviting. Maybe they were kept in the fridge? Lovely room but noisy from the traffic on the main road. We had warm weather but couldn't leave the windows open at night. There were fans in the room though. Would we stay here again? Big yes.

Close proximity to the small but very beautiful and clean city of Canterbury, 15 to 20 minute walk away. Lovely room, very clean and spacious with a walk in room for clothing. Tea and coffee, water and a kettle. Continental breakfast was served in the morning, cereal, berries, Greek yoghurt, croissants, pastries, fresh fruit and toast. Tea and coffee and juice too. Plenty to eat and constantly replenished by the friendly members of staff. Free WiFi available. Small Sainsbury's over the road, also Kent Cricket Club. All the staff we met were lovely and friendly and always asked if we needed our room servicing or replenished with tea, coffee etc. There is an area downstairs where there is a communal fridge with chairs and a table for eating your own food.

    Honestly everything was excellent!

This was by far the best place we've stayed so far in the UK. Although the room was small it was immaculately clean, with all the things required for comfort. This room was in the back corner of the building so wonderfully quiet and peaceful at night. An excellent fan was provided to ensure a cool night's sleep. I liked the 15-20 minute walk into the centre. It was an equal distance from the central bus station and Canterbury East rail station. A laundrette was relatively close as was a Sainsbury Express. There's a shared fridge downstairs which would be handy. The breakfast was really good with real greek yogurt, fresh berries, croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals, good quality coffee and tea as well as toast. I noticed they also provided vegan, dairy free and gluten-free options. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make our stay a comfortable one. I would highly recommend as excellent value for money for a Canterbury stay.

The breakfast was moderate. One bedside lamp didn't work but we stayed only one night so we didn't have the time to ask the staff to fix it.

Very well arranged room, close to the city center. Comfortable bed. Coffee and water were available in the room.

Be warned - if like us, you have no/limited mobile internet, you may have trouble getting in. We set off from home before the management sent us the key box details (despite our asking that they be sent in advance) and as a result, we could not get in. Thankfully, a passer-by kindly let us use his mobile, but this is not something I'd like to have to count on. Hence the reduced note for service.

This was a single-night stopover in Canterbury, and a very pleasant room in which to spend it. If the room was a bit too warm because of the sweltering weather, the management had thoughtfully provided a very efficient cooling fan, and we both slept well as a result. A lovely, confortable bed, tastefully decorated room, and a very good bathroom. Ideal. Only one window would open, but that proved not to be a problem. And the continental breakfast was very good.

There was nothing to not to like really tbh, the bathroom door didn't latch but that wasn't a issue and may of failed during the stay, but never bothered us

Only 4 car park spaces on a first come first serve basis for the 6 rooms. Continental breakfast didn't have any savoury options like meat or cheese.

It was a really nice room with a four poster bed and a very thick comfortable mattress (tbh one of the best we've slept on). There was an oscillating fan which was quiet and with a strong breeze that was really great on one of the hottest days of the year. Large bathroom shower. Friendly staff lady at breakfast.

The walk in wardrobe/closset smelled musty. It was also an inconvenience that we couldn't park our car and had to find on street parking. The annoying part was that if the parking spaces were arranged differently I'm sure they could fit at least one, if not two more cars in.

The bed albeit so high you almost needed a ladder to get in to it, was really comfortable and a great size. The shower was great and the toiletries lovely.

Breakfast fairly basic but plentiful and some variety e.g. cereal, bread/toast and pastries. Some traffic noise but for us it was OK once evening traffic had died down

Smart, clean and comfortable room. Staff were helpful. Check in quick and efficient. Not too far from town centre walking, or bus stop across the road. Parking convenient if you can get a place
