This is our 5th year staying at The Beach and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff, apartment, location and breakfast are all incredible!

Lack of parking spaces but nothing much they can do about that!!

Stylish. Great location for beach and town. There for a bike tour. They were very helpful with things we had not thought of. Luggage labels etc

Wonderful location and excellent being on the ground floor and able to see a wonderful view from the patio doors and on the balcony. The room, the bed and the bathroom were gorgeous. As was the food.

Location was great, terrace great, staff cheerful. Nice refurbished bathroom.

Was well worn. Our room had no aircon. TV was small and not a good picture. Could only just get in room as there was a desk by the door. Couldn't open both shutter windows as bedside table in the way. Kettle old. Wardrobe door caught as you closed it. Bed advertised as king-size but it wasn't. Glass around outside deck was dirty, deck needed to swept. It calls itself a luxury hotel and charges luxury prices but it most certainly does not live up to expectations.

Every area was exceptional, we had an amazing balcony from our room so that we could enjoy the stunning views and the sunsets The breakfast was so nice and all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful All this made our weekend stay just perfect

The room was very small very dusty on top of wardrobe was 1/2 an inch thick with dust as down the side ,light shade was dusty carpet Was badly stained tap in the bathroom was leaking nowhere to put our suitcase no view from window broken blinds breakfast sat was lovely, Sunday was nice Monday was cold had to send it back

The location is great for taking walks all around Bude and for easy beach access. Elements restaurants is also excellent, we enjoyed breakfasts and a dinner there.

Occasional smell of cigarette smoke wafting up from somewhere outside bedroom window in Room 5.

The staff were very pleasant & friendly. Bed was very comfortable!. Bar/restaurant was very nice and had excellent views overlooking the beach.

The room was in need of limited service, e.g. the shower controls were loose and the cubicle leaked so water sprayed on to the floor each time it was used. The residents should be informed that the bar/restaurant is not part of the hotel business so not given the option of a room tab, also, not offered a discount on purchases made in the bar.

Comfortable hotel in a great seaside location. Stylish room with good bathroom and very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with attentive staff. Great sea views. Good selection of teas and biscuits in room. Would stay again.

The receptionist was on the phone for ten minutes while we were waiting to check in and didn’t even acknowledge us. There was a dirty towel left in our bathroom which smelled of cigarette smoke. More attention to detail/ staff training needed.

Excellent location, lovely breakfast, helpful staff, convenient hotel for the beach and for exploring Cornwall.

We had high expectations based on the ratings and the pictures. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to these expectations. The hotel itself and the rooms were a bit dated, the carpets were old and stained. The rooms were very hot and stuffy as well due to the lack of air conditioning. When opening the terrace door in our first floor room, we were ‘greeted’ by the 24-hour sound of what appeared to be a generator or something similar. The bed was way too soft, with no support at all. There were no blackout blinds so there was plenty of light in the room from sunrise onwards, making it difficult to carry on sleeping.
