An excellent shepherds hut well sited next to a pond full of wildlife. I haven’t seen a grass snake in ages so it was a real treat. The frogs were also in good voice.

The location was perfect!! The animals around were a bonus, helping to relax us and feel apart if the countryside. At first we found it hard to find. The sat nav takes you to the middle of the riad and a bush 😔 but the lovely owners of the land helpt us and made us feel so welcome. We were very sad to leave as it was an experience of a life time and money couldn't by the happiness and fun we experienced at the fun of getting back to nature. We simply fell in love with each other all over again.

Trying to find the location, but that is all.

We loved the unique design, how cozy and clean it was and just the overall vibe! Went in January so was cold outside but we soon warmed up with the log burner. Hosts very thoughtful - left us chocolate and biscuits and tea and coffee etc. Bed very clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed the book showing the different stages of the hut being built. Also loved the design with the cinema chairs and the pull out steps to the high bed - genius! They really have made the most of the space and it felt bigger than it seemed in the pictures.

Nothing, we are planning to return when it is a bit warmer. Can’t wait!

The best off grid experience you could wish for! 12v battery charges your phone, but I just switched mine off! No notifications, just the pure bliss of the countryside. Sited next to an amazing woodland walk, a lovely pond and animals all around you! Clear instructions on how to get in and how to use everything and even a contact number to buy fresh eggs. Being a townie, it was just what I needed a break from the crazy! Excellent for plane enthusiasts with the airport, so nearby you could count the windows on the planes coming in at night and hear then taking off, but it wasn't crazy noisy, just the grumbles of engines. There was a bbq, a firepit literally EVERYTHING for off grid survival with a gas camping hob for the kettle/one pan meals. It was a 5-star off grid accommodation, spotless and decorated to an extremely high standard. Honestly, i have not stopped raving about the place!

That I couldn't stay longer as had to go back to the real world ... wish I could just move in lol x

The details in the property. So thought out.

It would have been useful to have some milk for tea in the morning.

Lovely location and very quaint. The shower was fab.

The toilet...due to it being warm..it stunk. Using sawdust definitely did not reduce odour.

The Hut was more or less what we expected: simple, rustic and clean. Outdoor picnic area and fire pit for barbecue and extensive woods nearby.

The experience was very badly affected by vile, windy, wet and cold weather. Use of the outdoor areas was out of the question so we were constrained to sitting indoors listening to the planes taking off from nearby Gatwick Airport.

Very relaxed and beautiful setting, the pigs at the farm are adorable, the peaceful area really allowed my partner and I to connect and rest.

I did not do my due diligence and had no idea that the facilities would be as....... rustic as they are, this was really no problem and I would 100% stay again but may not have booked it if I'd known that it was a compost toilet, the other hut on site has an outhouse and boy am i glad i didn't get that one.
