The room was funky and modern with a spacious and very useful kitchen area. The staff were great, the food was delicious, and the area around was beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for my family and dog.

I would have liked wider towels and mugs rather than coffee cups! It could be a little dark in the early evening, one of the bulbs was out in the living area so my cross stitch was a bit tricky.

It was clean and spacious. Very close to Kielder and easy to get to. No road noise at all which I appreciated! Well signposted from the road. It was cosy. Staff were great, even gave me some milk when I forgot mine! I felt very safe there.

Some of the parts of the room look a bit worn (carpet, furniture), but not really a problem.

Very pretty place, very welcoming (we loved the pond and all the farm animals roaming around!). Great facilities and lovely staff. They were very accommodating as we were visiting for a wedding and were going to come back late: they arranged access so that we could get into our room late. The area is beautiful and definitely worth a trip. We'll be back. The room was very large and comfortable.

My little girl has a range of allergies and the owner was fantastic with explaining the menu and suggesting alternatives. For a small place in rural Northumberland, they catered very well for allergies and dietary requirements. Some of the bigger chains could learn a thing or two from Boe Rigg. Location was stunning and my children loved the chickens and ducks roaming around. Room was clean and comfortable.

No tea and coffee in the room, although a kettle and fridge were provided. Bathroom was adequate but a little dated.

To keep the room cool we needed to leave a window open but then the Cockerel woke us up at 4.30am! I know that a rural location brings these natural noises. But a fan in the room would have helped keep it a bit cooler on warm days/nights. Some coffee and uht milk would have been nice in the room

There was not a thing we disliked

Rooms have everything you need and is absolutely spotless!!! it’s in a lovely quiet spot in country with bar and restaurant on site. Food was 10/10 and staff lovely. Campsite is on the grounds also but no issues at all, no noise, no loud music nothing and everybody really friendly and respectful of others. Absolute hidden Gem. Already booked to go back.

Being picky but could do with blackout blinds, room was excellent but very light blinds so sun was shining through from 6am.

Had everything needed, location was beautiful. Food & drinks choices were great. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Would def book again 😀
