Easy to find on main road on the site of a Hungry Horse so food and drink was cheap and easy for an overnight stay en route north

Rooms were very small and very tired with paint peeling off the walls. Bathroom was tiny with signs of damp and mould. No staff on hand to assist except in the bar area

The room is cosy and comfortable. Huge TV and great WIFI. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you. It is like coming to a second home. The standard of cleanliness is really good too which is most important.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years as it is located near family. I have given the same feed back from previous visits, the only thing that stops me from giving a 10 out of 10 rating is that the rooms are in need of maintenance. Little details like chipped paint and scuff marks, missing light over bathroom mirror. A lick of paint would make a big difference!

    It had a fan

Decor was disgusting. Paint coming off walls in big patches. Dirty walls and doors. Tiles cracked on bathroom floor..my husband cut his foot on them. Shower cubicle was so small struggled to get in and out. Big hole in the wall.

Everything was perfect. The only problem I found was you can’t check in until 2 pm but the staff got me in for 1:30 pm which was very good of the as I was going to a funeral at 2:30"..The food was brilliant. The service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be booking in there again and will recommend it to my friends.

Would like to have checked in for 12 that was my only problem…

The staff are nice and friendly, the food is great.

The rooms are a bit outdated and need attention, but its still an ok place to stay for the money you pay.

Only reason we slept here was the proximity to the airport

Room was really small. There was visible mold in the bathroom and smelled funny

I've stayed here before albeit in a different room so I had a very good idea of what to expect. Check in was easy and the staff very friendly. I had a single room which was of reasonable size with the bed, wardrobe, desk and enough room to move about. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the en-suite facilities were more than adequate. There is a portable oscillating fan in the room which given the recent heatwaves was a godsend on a hot night. This is a Greene King hotel with the restaurant below so you don't have to go far for a decent meal and a drink. It's location off the Great Western Road and it's ample sized car park adds to the convenience. As I said, I've stayed here before and I will stay here again. This is ideal to a working stop over.

A couple of very minor points. I'm always conscious of noise and the floor of the room creaks terribly with every step you take across it. Fortunately it is the restaurant below and not another room so I don't have the anxiety of keeping anyone else awake. The rooms at the back look out over the kitchen roof and the noisy extractor fans and ducting. Fortunately the fans are switched off late evening and so do not disturb your sleep.

Room was clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Entering our room (after a long trip during day) we found Kettle coffee and tea in the room. One could also order Meals at the restaurant, Though the lift was not working we were helped by the staff to carry our bags to our room. We spent a restful night before our morning flight from Glasgow airport.

Nothing really. The bed was pretty comfy.

The room was very run down and in need of painting. Shower was so small. I stayed as I had surgery the next day at the golden jubilee.

First, double room was switched to single rooms. The trim I am my wife stayed was a room for disability people. The bathroom was not adequate for us to use. Too noisy at night as it was too close to the main road. Wouldn’t book again and would not recommend family and friends. Disappointing.

Staff were welcoming and efficient. Meal in the bar was served quickly and no issues.

Room 2 was shabby with sharp, broken tiles on the bathroom floor and black mold on the ceiling that had been cleaned but still smelt damp.

Location we stay on an island, Millport Isle of Cumbrae KA280AT and I have been diagnosed with prostrate cancer and had a meeting with an oncologist on the Wednesday morning hence our stay over on the Tuesday as the Titan is very handy for the the Beatson Cancer clinic.

The advertised check in time is after 2 pm, my wife and I arrived at 3pm no one at we rung the bell no one appeared my husband who has mobility problems took our small cases up to the first floor one at a time, lift not in use my husband noticed a housemaid working on first floor and approached her to ask if she could help as we had no response from reception or the person at the bar , the house maid who was lovely went to get some one to book us in this was after my wife had been to the bar and was told by a par server that they would get a manager and after we had waited 30 minutes to be attended to my husband was on still on the first floor by this time we had waited over 39 mis to check in, the shower hose was burst and sprayed water everywhere when showering, lamp shade on bedside table was bust , cracked tiles on bathroom floor the manageress said she was not aware of these faults and said we would refund the cost of our stay £63 which we are still waiting on. We noticed from the information that the name has been changed to Titan Green king which has a fantastic reputation and we have used extensively in the past .
