Super compact but clean and well equipped

Super-compact accomodation, well utilised but with limited drying space. Sufficient for the two of us but, would I imagine, be difficult for four persons in less than ideal weather.

Well located. Clean, well equipped, and provided with good instructions and adequate local information. The 'challenging' stairs were an interesting feature :-)

the thing i found funny was being told we needed to take the bed sheets of an pillow cover, put them in the laundry bag supplied. also we where told we need to sort out the rubbish an separate recycling where possible. iv stayed in many self catering facilities an never cone across this before having to do the cleaner's job.

im going to write a honest review, the cottage was nice an basic overall the cottage is small but cozy. down stairs living area is small an ideal for two people max 3, regarding the fire place it's an electric heater not real fire place. the bathroom is small but basic has a Electric shower an a small electric heater overall does the job, regarding up stairs living area very nice an cozy. but the problem is very low ceiling's 6 foot max only in the centre strip so not ideal for tall people can be a bit awkward up there with the slope ceiling. also the stair's up to the top level very dangerou's, the step them self are small an easy to slip or miss Judge. also the outside area is very nice garden area also with decking area, not sure about the bbq but all in all cozy an nice.

The stairs up to bed are a little precarious, with nowhere to hold on to, very steep and narrow, almost like a ladder. Had to go down the stairs backwards and there was no bannister to hold onto. Bed slats moved around a lot while asleep through the night and fell on the floor at times. Had to keep windows closed as there was so many wasps which came in even with the windows closed.

Location was great. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it had everything you could need.

It's fairly cheap so I didn't expect The Savoy. But...the Bunkie is generally pretty tired including the sofa being pretty uncomfortable, the double bed slats kept dropping out in the night which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Wouldn't recommend anyone very tall or with limited mobility issues to stay, as it's a ladder up to the bedroom and there's very little room to manoeuvre around.

Location and view of the loch is great.

It is really small. We stayed as a family of 4 and had really bad weather during our stay so we had to spend more time than we anticipated in it. It’s perfect for just sleeping in if you get good weather and can explore the area.

It was clean and cosy with the fire on. The facilities were well maintained and it had everything we needed in for our short stay.
