There wasn’t anything to not like. If there was a slight niggle it was that the showerhead could have been a little bit more powerful

If the fronts was spruce up as some plants put in the planters in the front garden and round the side that would be nice and signs to wear to go to check-in reception should be would be helpful

Convenient for work. Pretty village very quiet lovely church and nice walks. Very nice breakfast and evening meal. Comfortable bed good night sleep. Exceptional value for money lovely friendly land lady.

Our shower was too hot and another room had a leak from the ceiling, which they fixed.

Good for an overnight stay. The staff are lovely and the pub is really nice. The food was good and the rooms are basic but have everything you need.

The coffee for breakfast was not good. Breakfast ok but not the best ingredients. Expensive for small dog, £20 per night!!

The bedroom was big and the bed was comfortable. Location good, in a small village. We had the Steak for dinner and it was excellent.

There was a group function on during my stay which did mean getting a dinner took a bit longer than usual, but I was able to order and go back up to my room and the barman came up to tell me when it was ready.

A better option than paying more for a B&B in Oxford town itself. Clean room and easy parking directly behind the hotel.

At arrival it wasn’t very clear where to go to enter the property perfectly fine but wouldn’t be hard to make this a very nice b&b As lovely as the couple are, clearly very good people, I think investing in a hospitality improvement opportunities review could be beneficial to make this into a top quality b&b (I would happily provide this service)

On one of the nights we stayed, up until gone midnight there was a lot of very low altitude heavy cargo plane activity to Brize Norton, which was very loud. The room was quite small. Felt like breakfast options were limited.

The room was very comfortable. A very easy drive to the Oxford park-and-rides. The curry we had for dinner was lovely, but a tad hot.

The bathroom had an odd smell that wouldn't go away. It was tired needed a bathroom refurbishment deep clean.

It was fit for purpose but poor lack of internet and difficulty getting taxis to Blenheim Palace posed us some worrying issues

Nothing to majorly dislike, the nature of this historic building is heavy footsteps from neighboring rooms can be heard but that’s the Nature of this kind of building 🙂

Nestled in a lovely village with dedicated parking, this is a great option for exploring Oxford and the local area. Room comfortable enough and clean. I found the hosts helpful and welcoming so thank you I will be back!

Surprise of finding a bus stop and seating provided outside the front door, minimum of 20 quiet people waiting for busses, due to temporary road works, therefore no parking available. With all the buses and people outside there was no noise. Good room and facilities.

The homemade curry selection. It was excellent, so tasty, and gluten-free. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend it. Only stayed 1 night for a break, before driving home

The room was perfect for us (twin beds for myself and my daughter). Everything was spotlessly clean. It was particularly hot that week so fans were left in the room for us to use. We had all we needed in the room. We couldn't stay for a cooked breakfast as we had to rush but it looked and smelled delicious. All prepared by the owners who were very nice.

Nice location in village centre. Car parking was fine. Weather was very hot so hard to judge comfort level in normal times! Arrived late so couldn’t test curries.
