Being on the top floor with narrow steep stairs when you have a bad leg, but that's circumstantial so no criticism of the staff or venue.

It appears ownership changed from the time we booked our stay and the “breakfast included” was no longer an option. Tried to order room service as shown in the materials in the room, only to be told they don’t offer that any longer.

The rooms were updated nicely and were clean and comfortable. Food in the pub was very good

A cosy and quiet room – despite the busy street outside and the pub downstairs – featuring a (decorative) fireplace. It has an old-school feel: two taps over the sink, proper metal keys with a wooden tag instead of dull key cards (sadly, the manager said this feature will be gone by autumn, if I understood correctly – a shame), etc. Excellent location – many places in central London are within walking distance. Clean. Exceptionally friendly staff. The only downside was that they no longer serve breakfast (so I believe the “breakfast included” option should be removed from Booking). I booked the room back in January or thereabouts with breakfast included, and as it was no longer available, I was offered compensation options. I chose a pleasant dinner with a friend at the pub, on the house. All in all, I would highly recommend.

All the stairs, one of my knees is not the best so 3 flights of stairs to get to your room or out to the city was a bit tough over multiple days

We boked and paid for breakfast, but in the morning the was nobody about and the bar where breakfast is usually served was still closed when we had to leave about 11 am

Having to go up the stairs after a long day of walking around London, but it was better knowing the comfortable bed that awaited.

We were made to feel really welcome by the staff. It was a warm day, and they had prepared the room to be cooler than it would've been otherwise. The room was really high quality and very clean and comfortable. We had a great couple of nights in London.

Room was on the 3rd floor with no lift so might present a problem for some. Kitchen was closed during our stay and although we received a refund, breakfast would have been preferable.

Thin walls. Could hear the next door guests talking and employees moving heavy objects early morning and at night. Not very close to underground station if you need it. The bar downstairs can get very busy. There is a separate entrance to the rooms but it can be crowded with people drinking.

Extremely friendly staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Roomy clean bathroom. Good quiet location but on Easter weekend it was a bit too quiet.. Close to bus stops which took us anywhere we needed. Short bus ride to most central sites and attractions.

Unfortunately, this hotel has been the only one out of many hotels, from Kuala Lumpur to Venice, to Dubai, to New York, where I asked directly during my stay for an invoice on my company's name, and was not given one, instead being given an invoice on my own name! When speaking to the person in charge, I was asked for my company's data and I provided this un full.

Very nice hotel, with a pub at the ground floor, offering fast access to transport options.

Unfortunately the sockets in our room weren’t working so we could charge our phones, I couldn’t use my straighteners, the lamps didn’t work.

Staff were very helpful, great location, food was lovely, rooms were stylish and roomy. I had arranged a surprise family brunch and the team couldn’t have been more helpful.

It comes up as Camden, but it is not. It's Camden district, but it is not far by tube. But otherwise, it was perfect.

Very spacious room, well equipped, and has a bonus of breakfast if you want it. The pub food was very good.

Few people have mentioned about the steep stairs. We were on the top floor and didn’t find this to be an issue.

They accommodated a large booking with a few different family members and even arranged a lovely breakfast for everyone on the Sunday morning. Staff are amazing and the rooms are lovely.

Top floor room is really on the top floor.. no lifts unfortunately.

The decor is really nice with some period features still left. Bed was very comfortable, aircon and fan a big plus in the top floor room. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast also really nice.
