The room was lovely, comfortable and spacious and the staff were very helpful and welcoming on arrival.

Due to a change in management, the accomodation no longer provides breakfast. It was a bummer, as we actually booked this hotel on recommendation from our neighbours who stayed here a year ago and raved about the breakfast. So I wish it was disclosed to us prior, as I would have likely booked somewhere else closer to St Pancras station and moved our Eurostar train booking to be in the morning instead of 12pm. They did offer a lunch voucher instead, which we were sadly not able to use since we had to catch a Eurostar train in the noon. I was told to contact staff for a refund, but doing so without a UK bank account was not easy. I still did not get the refund money processed in my account, and it has been 10 days since they replied to me.

The staff were brilliant, the room was really nice, fresh and clean.

Being on the top floor with narrow steep stairs when you have a bad leg, but that's circumstantial so no criticism of the staff or venue.

Quality rooms in centre of city and a good solid British pub

The rooms were updated nicely and were clean and comfortable. Food in the pub was very good

It appears ownership changed from the time we booked our stay and the “breakfast included” was no longer an option. Tried to order room service as shown in the materials in the room, only to be told they don’t offer that any longer.

It had a nice decor

There was not much staff available, there was construction going on in the room next to ours . Which was never informed to us! Room was dusty and noise started very early (construction), mattress was very uncomfortable, very old and had no shape at all , couldn’t sit on the edge of it because it loose the shape (it kind melted) When lying on it we were sinking in the middle of the mattress. The a/c was not cooling much and the last night stopped working completely!

Stayed here a few times now. Love the place! New management and very friendly staff!!

Don’t do breakfast anymore!

Lovely room, clean sheets and great location

Excellent location within easy access for most places and ideal for my purposes that day/evening. The staff were so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was spacious with iron, ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries and aircon - which was much appreciated as it was a very hot day/evening! The bed itself was so comfortable with cosy bedding and pillows meaning I slept well. The only thing to mention is that there was no breakfast, but there are numerous other locations in a short distance to get breakfast. Would definitely return.

A cosy and quiet room – despite the busy street outside and the pub downstairs – featuring a (decorative) fireplace. It has an old-school feel: two taps over the sink, proper metal keys with a wooden tag instead of dull key cards (sadly, the manager said this feature will be gone by autumn, if I understood correctly – a shame), etc. Excellent location – many places in central London are within walking distance. Clean. Exceptionally friendly staff. The only downside was that they no longer serve breakfast (so I believe the “breakfast included” option should be removed from Booking). I booked the room back in January or thereabouts with breakfast included, and as it was no longer available, I was offered compensation options. I chose a pleasant dinner with a friend at the pub, on the house. All in all, I would highly recommend.

Nice location, lots of transport nearby. The room was big and comfortable .

We had booked breakfast but were told upon arrival that they didn’t do breakfast. We had to insist to get it refunded , at first they refused . A bit disappointing. We stayed 3 nights and the second day no one came to do up the room .

Room good, clean and nicely fitted out

Scam basically - I booked B&B - i.e. breakfast. When I arrived I was told by the manager that they could not do breakfast for me as they were out of stock (which I have had previously and it was very good - hence one of the reasons for book). He explained to me that I would get a refund. This was then confirmed to me again when I checked out. The outcome - no refund and emails on the issue have been ignored. So basically was lied to in order to steal my money. Awful.
