Really nice staff. Food was fine and room was very good.

Its a bit strange if you come back after the pub's closed. You enter via a gate at the back and its a bit dark.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Room was beautiful and comfy.

Lack of wardrobe space, but more than adequate if you are travelling lite.

A little gem. Beautiful room, great provisions. Shame there was no breakfast facilities.

    Modern, clean

Its primary business is a bar/restaurant/pub rather than a hotel; there are only a handful of rooms. If you arrive after the bar closes, you have to access via the back, which is OK but may be unusual for some (if they are expecting a 24hour front desk). Only criticism would be that there was a crowd of other people who arrived very late and made quite a lot of noise as they accessed their room and whilst they settled - I nearly got up to have a polite word...not the hotel's fault but in other hotels, I would have spoke to a member of the hotel staff to have a word but at this place, no employee's around to have a word with.

Beautiful newly decorated room in a fantastic location and immaculately clean. Will be our new place to stay when we are visiting family in Huyton in future.

The room was well presented and clean, there were lovely additional extras such as nice toiletries and biscuits /juice. The bed was so comfortable and the venue was absolutely silent for a good night sleep. The shower was just right too. I didn't get to eat here but the menu and food looked great

    Nothing at all

The staff were so friendly, and the landlady Karen went out of her way to make me feel at home. The room was really clean, so beautiful and relaxing, it felt like home from home. The bed was so comfy, and I loved all the little extras: dressing gown, bath robe, bottles of water, biscuits included with the usual tea and coffee, etc. I would highly recommend The Clock Face Prescot and definitely stay again.

The TV was tuned to Wales tv, but not really an issue at all.

The staff did their best but were not well trained in receiving hotel guests. In fact when I arrived the young woman behind the bar said oh yeah we spoke about you coming this morning but there is nothing in the book. When I asked about the window opening she said that the building was old an none of the windows opened.

Couldn't have breakfast as it didn't start until 9am> Only just managed to get dinner as the Chef wanted to go by 8:30pm. The room was on the small side with the only window access over a large boxed in area ( very difficult to negotiate to close the curtains when you have arthritis) the window didn't open either so no ability to get any fresh air into the room. I left early in the morning and had to use the side door exiting into a court yard which was not well maintained. Posted key back through the front letter box.

Room totally inappropriate for business travel. No hanging or packing space for clothes and when I asked for hangers, they dis not have any. No
