The location was amazing, the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had, everything was fresh and home made, tea, coffee and bread were all top notch.

Beautiful, characterful house with a lovely warm welcome from Isla. The room was a twin and was large with views across the countryside. Adjoining bathroom which was well appointed. Isla recommended a fabulous nearby gastropub for supper and she very kindly gave us a lift there too. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh croissants and jams, yoghurt with fresh fruit and we also had eggs on toast. Fruit juices and tea and coffee too. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and worked recommend The Coach House.

Hosts Iola and Michael lovely people, friendly and helpful, our pleasure to meet them! Ours was just a flying visit, we would have liked to stay longer... Nice property, clean and comfortable with a beautiful large garden. Very easy to get to from the east - drive to the end of the M50 and turn right, two minutes and you are there. For sightseeing, Symonds Yat is about ten or so miles away (but you will need to walk when you get there, no views from the car). The property is very rural, very quiet, which means nothing is within walking distance, so a car is necessary for your evening meals, for example, or a taxi if you like a bottle of wine with it. That said, it's only ten minutes - at most - to the centre of Ross-on-Wye. Breakfast was nice but limited - see the description.
