I booked this hotel on our return to Edinburgh and proximity to EDI. It was a wonderful experience. Professional and Welcoming reception, excellent restaurant, the room and bath were spotless and modern. Lots of comfort. Great early breakfast. The hotel caters to locals ( events), professionals and travelers and was a great value.

Quite s hike to our room - twice we got up there after long tiring days to find our key card would not open room. Back to reception for new card!!

The hotel was very nice, convenient and comfortable. Of all the places we stayed over our 10 day holiday this was our favorite. Best meal of the trip as well!

We had an amazing stay at The Craigie Hotel. The room was really comfy and made for a relaxing visit. Getting into Edinburgh was so convenient with a bus stop right out front. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Bit on the expensive side. Very disappointed there were no charging facilities for my electric car. Not in a very nice area.

Stupid security policy that limits the window opening. Not the fault of the staff, but it make the room airless and hot on a warm day ( the three days per annum, I guess -:)

Very helpful and kind staff. They helped us with everything, including installing fans in the unusually hot room. Great breakfast and dinner, served fast

We all arrived back from town after the Tattoo on the saturday night at about around midnight. The bar was sadly closed. I did ring to see if it could be kept open but was told no. The whole group would have liked a nightcap !!

We were a group of 18 visiting Edinburgh and the Tattoo. Very satisfied with rooms food, bar, food and the hotel in general.

Nothing I didn't like at all.

Staff are friendly and more than that, efficient. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was out of this world- a proper full Scottish brekky with the works, no lunch necessary after that. When I find myself travelling back to that neck of the woods, I'll be back at the Craigie for sure!

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff and wonderful little restaurant. Convenient for Edinburgh. Leave your car at the hotel and take the bus.

Carpets in room stained, décor slightly dated, although bathroom modern and well equipped.

Spacious room, tasteful decoration, excellent clean facilities, very large, comfortable bed, a really luxurious feeling. Outstanding choice of breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented with no time pressure as it was served all morning. Courteous and friendly staff.

Can’t think of any.

We preferred to stay out of Edinburgh when we visited Edinburgh to give us a reason to explore outside of the city. It was a bit far but we rented a car and even we didn’t, there’s public transportation that was convenient as well. The room was small, which made it challenging to open our big suitcase but the bed was comfortable and staff was very nice. The breakfast though! it’s fantastic!! We would love to come back here again!
