The room was mostly clean but large cobwebs at bathroom window (complete with resident 🕷️). Shower needs mould cleaning. Cobwebs in bedroom again with insects

Well equipped room, perfect location for us to attend a wedding. Restaurant serves delicious food. Staff friendly and accommodating. Reasonably clean, bedding perfect.

The breakfast was wonderful and very reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, despite many requests from a fussy toddler! The play area within the pub garden was a great plus and meant that the children enjoyed there time as much as we did. We will definitely be back.

Bedding was weird , felt plasticky, guessing waterproof, pillowcase protectors were not great , glad we took our own pillows. Shower flooded bathroom ,hooks were all broken , no teaspoons provided, kettle leaked .. Found previous occupants pizza boxes with left over pizza in on top of wardrobe..

Lots of cobwebs in the room and bathroom- particularly down the side of the sink. This didn’t impact my stay though, and I would definitely stay again.

Beds only 4’6” so small for us. We weren’t told there was an all weekend music and beer event, which didn’t bother us too much as we were out a lot, but it would have been nice to be warned earlier. Quite high ceilings with spiders! Bedside table space limited.

Friendly staff and new build lodges with good shower room and lots of electric points. Cooler fan was very welcome.

Why only one chair? The pub only serves breakfast on Friday - Sunday. The Wednesday roast meal was disappointing.

The double bed was not quite wide enough for us. The wet room shower made the whole bathroom wet and a bit slippery and a bedside light would have been very useful.

Good location for a local wedding. Clean room with a comfy bed. We had a drink in the pub but didn't eat. Very happy with our stay

No fridge for proper milk . The bed was beautifully made and the sheets smelt lovely but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The curtain at the door let the light in . Worst thing of all was I couldn’t get any phone signal all weekend . Hubby was a bit more successful.

The only thing I didn't like is the glass panel in the door of Lodge, people can see through and the bathroom is directly opposite. Not a huge issue but for privacy I think they should have a screen or curtain of some kind.

Friendly staff , lovely area and locals really friendly too. Amenities are second to none and the lodges are finished to a very high standard. Will definitely be staying again in the future and highly recommend to anyone.
