We like the location and the accommodation. The kids love it too, they have a flying fox and trampoline in the woods which are on the grounds . The tepee tent is great on a Friday night for a few beers!! The management on site are friendly and very helpful.

    Nothing !!

Beautiful location, bird feeder outside the kitchen window. Lots of outside seating but not time to fully appreciate this time

Sofa low back, not the most comfortable piece of furniture

Beautiful location and exceptionally well presented property

A minor gripe, but perhaps a little on the small side for six guests, especially with just the one bathroom.

A large group including family and friends stayed in all 6 cottages, cottages interlinked, beautiful interiors and furnishings, made the place even more magical!

The location is perfect and our cottage was lovely.. the tipi tent on site is brilliant, you can rent it for special occasions. They do pizza nights with a bar where you can chill out and chat to other guests. We hired the fire pit for a couple of hours the kids loved it toasting marshmallows..

Loved the location, within walking distance of the woods for fantastic dog walks and views across the fields surrounded by nature. Very welcoming, we’d love to return again in the future.

Polly was very helpful and welcoming. The property was absolutely lovely and you had a complimentary basket of logs for the log burner. The beds were extremely comfy and although we didn’t get the opportunity to use it, there was a wee grocery store on site. It was a delightful place to stay.

The charming touches to the little cottage. Beautifully decorated, lovely thick duvets, comfy pillows and soft plush towels. The hand-soap and shower gel in the bathroom smelt lovely. The homemade brownies on arrival were a great touch and have things like tea, coffee and sugar in the cottage definitely helps.

Our only down side was we struggled to keep the Woodstove going, however there was a note in the welcome book to contact the property to come out and help if we wanted too. As the cottage had central heating we were not cold and didn’t require the fire for heat more for aesthetic purposes.

Lovely little cottage, decor was beautiful and it had everything needed. Beds were comfortable, location was great and cottage was dog friendly. Cute little grocer on side also providing local produce. great communication from the accommodation with lots of info about surroundings and stay. overall a really nice stay

Our cottage ended up being really cold given the time of year. we weren’t able to regulate the heat via smart heater as it seemed to be preset and the radiators just didn’t dispense enough heat and the logs provided for the fire were quite damp so it didn’t burn as nicely. space heaters were provided however which helped slightly. However keep in mind that any additional wood logs for the fire after the first bucket provided occurs a fee of £7 per bucket which we found quite steep given that our cottage was freezing. Check out is at 10am even though the accommodation states a late check out may be possible on certain occasions. We stayed for 2 nights and keep in mind you are being asked to strip the beds and dispose of rubbish etc similar to a holiday let which makes you rush a bit in the morning with a 10am check out. Overall all minor and lovely stay.

A delightful cottage with gardens and room to move. Great for families, big lawned area and still lots of quiet spaces. Close to forest walks and the Cairngorm region. Really lovely.

Only complaint is we weren’t there long enough.
