United KingdomPiper and Terence are fantastic hosts. They could not have done any more. Very welcoming and attentive. My room was a single, and it was spot on. Good size, clean, plenty of tea/coffee options, all the amenities you need. Short walk into the centre of Ilfracombe. Parking at the property (if you're good at reversing) 😉 Breakfast included which was fantastic, with plenty of options. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and will stay again if in the area. Felt very comfortable during my stay. Thanks both. And keep up the great hosting at The Devonian.

United KingdomGreat location, walkable distance to Ilfracombe centre and harbour. Terence and Piper were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted in the mornings by name and they really took the time to get to know us. Breakfast in the mornings was 10/10, plenty of choice. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Everything that you think would be a nice extra touch, they had already thought about. One of the nicest and friendliest places we have ever stayed!

United KingdomPiper and Terrence went above and beyond in their hosting. I felt immediately so verywelcome. They put me at ease helping with some transport plans for the next day. They run an incredible hotel and have an impressive work ethic. I would highly recommend The Devonian and wish I could have stayed longer than one night after walking the South West Coast Path so I could enjoy their wide range of facilities and enjoy chilling out there some more. It will be a treasured memory from my time walking the path, passing through, especially as a solo traveller where friendly people and kindness makes all the difference to ones experience. It's a beautiful place, and there is a lovely wild garden which is a surprising delight. They run the place just the two of them, which really is an exceptional achievement. Also incredibly good value for all I received. Oh and the breakfast - set me up for the day, healthy and delicious. Brilliant experience! Thank you and great to meet you both.

Absolutely stunning place throughout. Attention to detail was excellent from the decor to products in the room to the welcome by the staff. Fantastic choice at breakfast. I had the scrumpet which far exceeded my expectation. Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with crème fraiche and chives on a crumpet. This hotel epitomised quality.

The guest house was exceptionally clean & very comfortable. The decor was very relaxing and the hosts very friendly and personable. Good location and within walking distance of the harbour etc. with parking available on site. The rooms were clean and well maintained with very comfortable beds. The hosts Terence and Piper made you feel relaxed and welcome from the minute we arrived. Good communication prior to our arrival too.
