The wifi was slow but it's not a major issue. I would recommend the owner to add a small fridge to the room if possible for future guests to use.

Comfortable beds, clean and spacious room that comes with a portable heater for added warmth on cold nights. The location is great, comfortable walk to the city centre and places to eat nearby. The location is relatively quiet so had a good sleep.

We were happy with everything.

Laura, our host, was very friendly and helpful. She provided little extras for us such as ice in an ice bucket, a tea towel, clean towels after only the second night of our three-night stay, great supplies of bottled water. each day, over and above the usual 1 bottle each on arrival. We had a table and chairs so we could eat our picnic breakfasts in the room. The super king bed was superbly comfortable, the room was spacious, with good clothes rail and hangers. The room was light and airy, with a nice en-suite. It is self contained and adjoined to Laura’s lovely house and is a short walk to shops and restaurants and slightly further to the seafront. A mini fridge is the only addition we would have found useful. Everything was great. We had come to Ayr for a close friends funeral wake, and Laura made us feel so well looked after during our stay. A big thank you to Laura from both of us.

We stayed at Doonleigh suite for 2 nights as we had a wedding in ayr. Our stay was perfect, room is clean comfy and cosy. Laura was always quick to respond allowed us to have a late check out and very kindly dropped of an iron for us. The street is quiet but a short walk to many shops and the beach. I would absolutely recommend, very lovely room and a great price.

The location is beautiful, close to the city centre and with free parking. The room is modern, very clean, comfortable and spacious. There is a TV in the room and some biscuits and coffee for the morning. We arrived late and there were no problems with the check-in, the owner left the key in a small black box. The owner was very kind and caring (she asked us if we arrived safely and had any problems ...). Just perfect.
