Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWell it isn't the chic, bougie hotel that so many places seem to be these days but has considerable character and charm because of that. A friend, hearing we were staying in a hotel, said we should use room service - well that couldn't be further from what's on offer but did we care? Nooo! There are no en suite bath/ shower facilities, just loos and basins but there was never an issue of queuing for a shower - all good.
Breakfast was lovely - in fact, all the food was great - we ended up eating there four nights out of five, including a WONDERFUL Feast night. The weather was exceptional which was really lucky, enabling us to sit outside to have a drink, eat and watch the sun go down most evenings. Very dog friendly and relaxed. Very close to a wonderful beach for pre-breakfast swimming although it's a bit of a scramble down for someone who'd just had a partial knee replacement... Some of the facilities are at the shabby end of 'shabby chic' but it's very comfortable and not at all pretentious like so many boutique hotels can be - definitely at the boho end of country house hotel. Artwork and ambience is fantastic, the garden is lovely - a festival/ party spirit exists amongst the staff and the guests! We've booked to go back twice next year so I guess you could say it worked its magic on us...

SwedenIn the morning it was a little confusing ordering breakfast as staff was busy doing other things. However, breakfast was great!
The staff was just lovely and attentive to our needs, when we really needed it. The view of the ocean is amazing, we caught the sunset from the dinner table. Room was cozy, beds comfy and the bathroom and fluffy towels was a dream after a long hike! Such a homey feel. Food was great and there were many options.

United KingdomI loved it. Strict seekers of uncluttered modernism or those looking for personal, pampered services might not. Bathrooms tend to be shared ones, for example.
This is a unique, bohemian and utterly charming place. It is comfortable and relaxed. Dogs and kids everywhere (within reason), pianos and cello practise a spontaneous surprise. The food is delicious. The cottages attached were full so I didn’t explore them. However, the same families book them up every year, which says much.

United KingdomIf the weather hadn't been as good, it could have used a comfy place to hang out indoors - there was a little side room I spotted but I wasn't sure if it was for staff or guests.
Great food, both breakfast and the restaurant on site. Excellent location on cliffs above a beach. There's a cellar bar, ocean views, a garden with plenty of picnic chairs, and a quirky slightly hippie style.

United KingdomWe Stayed in room 7, The room was tiny, and lighting was poor, our window over looked a roof so had no view, it was a shared bathroom so at night we got woke up a few times with people using the toilet and it also sounded as if it was above the kitchen as could hear pots and cutlery clanging till late so quite noisy. The room and facilities were a bit dated but I would stay again for the location and atmosphere.
The views from the hotel were amazing, plenty of walks and sightseeing and much to explore for walkers. We walked part of the Pembrokeshire coastal walk from the hotel, the views out to sea and beaches were amazing and beautiful, , the beach is in view of the hotel, just a short walk, we sat outside in the evening after a enjoying a delicious meal, had a drink from the bar and then sat to watch the sunset which ended a perfect day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, The hotel has lots of quirky bits which I liked and the food was 10/10. The atmosphere was good and if you have a furbaby, it's perfect

United KingdomAlthough we had our own loo, we had not been careful enough when booking and didn't realise we had to share a bathroom (down the corridor, very basic).
The hotel is in a spectacular location, with a fantastic little beach. The food was very good and the staff were lovely. Our room was a very good size with three views of the sea!
