Our room was near a noisy air conditioning unit and view wasn't the best. For size of hotel no guaranteed parking space. Pool was a bit cold until climatized to water.

We don’t like that we had to pay an additional £65 for the dog when we had booked it because it was a dog friendly hotel. Slow service on reception and for a £365 stay for one night the bar wasn’t clean and the reception weren’t overly helpful or friendly.

Only very minor things: - you need to reserve parking, there was no information about this on the booking.com website. Roadside parking is incredibly limited and tricky to find a spot. Advanced notice of this would be much better for the hotel guests. - more vegan & veggie options. Particularly for my children with additional diary allergies. Only vegan kids option was tomato pasta. Perhaps a plant based burger or vegan pizza? And some plant based butter portions with the breakfast. I could only eat one thing from the main dinner menu too, we would have eaten a second night if there was more variety.

Absolutely brilliant holiday. Staff were super friendly and exceptional service. Room was lovely, clean and relaxing. Went for my partners 40th and he was very looked after. Kids loved all the activities and facilities.

The room was very noisy and it was hard to sleep due to a lot of noise from the room above. Even them walking around created all sorts of creaks and noises.

Although room was comfortable and clean, we were on 1st floor and you could hear those above. As we we were out most of the day, it wasn't too bad, just creaky in the night.

Excellent location and great facilities on site, particularly for kids. Food was great and reasonably priced. Fantastic for Fistral beach and about 20 minute walk into town centre. Helpful, friendly staff

The parking was awful. This really put a downer on our holiday and prevented us from leaving Newquay due to fear of no parking on return. We wanted to go to Eden project which we were unable to do because of this. We heard others stressing over this too

We loved the extra touches for the children such as milk and cookies at bed time, hot chocolate in the room and the many activities

Only downside was that the rooms were very warm.

Staff were extremely friendly, great breakfast and food. location was perfect for fistral beach, great for surfing and body boarding.store wet suits and boards at hotel, surf school attached. But indoor pool was an added bonus with jacuzzi and sauna after a day on the beach. Would 100% return

Only down side to our stay was room was bit small an definitely not having air conditioning in hot weather not good , they did provide a fan but not good enough

I would of gave it a 10 as it is an exceptional hotel, there are just 2 things that knocked down the score for us, 1st the tv was very outdated and didn't have smart view/ netflix for times when we just wanted to chill and watch something and the 2nd reason was that there wasn't any adult only times in the pool so what was meant to be a relaxing swim turned into a bunch of kids splashing and screaming and cannon balling in, which seemed to happened everytime we went to swim.

Very very good hotel, breakfast 10/10, view from the balcony was amazing, very helpful and friendly staff.

How expensive everything was but that's the area and there was a window I couldn't open and one that wouldn't shut other than that absolutely nothing wrong

I liked how the staff went above n beyond for me and my son and the views were spectacular and so close to the beach.. definitely go again sometime and kept people informed at front desk when the pool was back open oh and the channels were Disney and prime and itvx what's not to like about Disney
