Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely clean bungalow about a ten minute walk from the centre of Corbridge. Host was very responsive on a request we made.

When our weekend was over 😔
Awww this is a wonderful bungalow in a lovely area. About a 10minute walk from the center of Corbridge. I have walking difficulties,getting Taxi's was impossible,but,we figured out the bus service and that was fabulous £2 per person. The bungalow is just lovely,clean,bright,warm, every-thing you need is there. Comfie beds,fantastic shower and bathroom,all easy for me to access and use. Kitchen is lovely,plenty of lovely crockery and pans etc. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. Key box entry system worked well. Corbridge looked lovely all the shop windows decorated for Christmas. Parking was great at the bungalow. We highly recommend this lovely detached bungalow to you. The host was quick to respond to any questions,and made him-self available via the phone if we had any problems. We didn't have any issues at all. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Great location, lovely bungalow, within walking distance of Corbridge. Bungalow was well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Bus stop outside handy for a trip into Newcastle.

We liked everything ♥
What was not to like ??? This was a delightful home in a quiet residential area. It was immaculate clean, with nice comfortable beds and fresh clean bedding. A great shower and well equipped kitchen. The garden with its patio area was a pleasant place to relax and listen to the birds. If it was raining, then a comfortable conservatory was available. It was a pleasant walk to the market village where some great artisan shops were situated. Good choices of local made produce and a well stocked delicatessen. It was great to see a local butchers shop too with fresh quality meats. A good selection of pubs too. Regular busses to surrounding areas, also a train station nearby. Corbridge is a great area to plan visits and walks to Hadrian's Wall. The nearby Sill is a must and is the start of a circular walk to the Sycamore Gap. I could go on but ..... take my advice and visit for yourselves.

A) The central heating had been set to come on at 9.30am. At that time we were already going out for the day. It would have been better if it the heating had come on earlier, e.g. 07.30 or 08.00, when we getting up and we could have benefitted from it. B) The gateway is too narrow for a modern family car / SUV. So, we were unable to take advantage of the off- road parking. Next time you do some work on the house, knock down a bit of the front wall to make the gateway a foot wider.
Pristine fittings and furniture, very tastefully chosen. The property had been recently decorated / refurbished. Nice little conservatory and garden at the back. Quiet avenue of bungalows. Well located, not too close or too far from the centre of Corbridge.

Would suggest a bin in the bathroom, a lamp in the lounge the over head light is a lot on the evening. And plus suggest changing one of the double beds to a twin that can be made into a double especially for kids.
