The room was nice and spacious.

Food over cooked.

Hotel decor is dated in need of a freshen up.

Room was excellent with an amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless with a fantastic shower and really big fluffy towels Very helpful staff as well... Could have done without the fire alarm going off at 5.15 am but the good point is that the fire alarms work really well!!!

Only had a bedside table on one side, and the bedside lights were annoying as the lampshade kept falling off....

The room was nice and comfy, the shower and Tea and coffee facilities were really nice and with plenty of car parking and all on one level really helps

i had to search for someone to check me in to the hotel i had rang the telephone on the reception to do check in and no one answered so i had to carry my bags to the bar area and wait for someone to acknowledge me, If you are going to have a hotel with a Bar/restaurant at least have enough staff to cover job roles.

Good to have a carvery next to hotel

They were ants in my room. And the carvery was under staffed, waited ages to be seen to a table.

It was good quality for the money. The beds where so comfortable.

There was nothing around it. If you didn't have a car you would be stuffed. The room didn't have enough coat hangers. Would of liked a little table between the chairs, had to put drinks on the floor.

Choice of evening food was limited to a full carvery. We would have preferred more choice, as we did not want or need a full carvery option.

I was in a room with a connecting doorway whoever was in the room next door kept us awake till 2.30 in the morning then alarms woke us at 5am the hallways really smelt awful and that needs attention it was not nice

Nowhere near 80 quid a night

The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom was lovely. The staff we're very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The only downside was, the lady who was in charge in the restaurant wasn't very helpful, the restaurant staff were great despite her. The food as always was great we had dinner and breakfast.

Location was great, easy access to Exeter

The hotel was really tired looking, the room I had was clean enough but the curtains etc were falling apart. The meal I had was OK, staff were good as we waited a long time for food

Location was convenient.

Some things had been refurbished but the carpets were very old. The surroundings weren’t good.

Rooms were nice and the beds were quite comfy

The staff. The service was terrible on so many different levels and the fact the fire alarm was going off around 4:45 with no explanation or apology from anyone.
