My second stay. The team are very friendly and helpful. I did not eat any main meals apart from breakfast which was amazing and very personalised.

Everything was good

The staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us. They all made our stay very comfortable. On Sunday night they stopped serving food early. We were unaware of this but they went out of their way to feed us despite the Inn being very busy with an event.

The food in the evening was excellent, even though it was fish menu the chef and staff accomodated us in choosing from the normal menu.

The proximity to the road made it a bit noisy in the morning as the window was open due to the heat. But this isn’t the fault of the property!

one small issue, we had to request cups and milk etc as it hadn't been topped up, but it was quickly resolved and didn't impact our stay that much. but I'm being really picky

the setting is perfect, felt very comfortable and relaxed. the breakfast was lovely.

The noise from the road is quite loud even with the windows closed. There was also a constant banging of a door that reverberated upto my room every time someone went through it which was annoying!!

The cobwebs in the room wasn't ideal but apart from that everything else was fine. The mattress felt too firm but I always struggle with hotel beds

There was a few cobwebs in room 7 but that's the only drawback. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Very nice cooked breakfast washed down with chilled orange juice and two decent sized mugs of tea. I did think we would get a breakfast menu though. Staff were friendly. Great beer garden and there was a dj playing on the afternoon we arrived, gave a good atmosphere

The good bits The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. The surroundings are very scenic. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it. The not so good, but just little niggles Very squeaky floorboards. Water builds up in the sink, doesn't flow away quickly. One of the bedside lamps doesn't work.

This pub is a truly great place to stay. We were going to a wedding close by so booked four rooms with family. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and looked after us very well. We had a delicious dinner and the breakfast the next day was exceptional. The bedrooms were bright airy and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this delightful pub.

My only fault was the shower it could’ve done a really good clean water didn’t come out properly and the little shower would not hold up just kept falling down.

Everyone there made us feel so welcome the breakfast and dinner was amazing, we will 100% come and stay again didn’t want too come home.

The car park area could do with a spruce up. Not much the owner can do but exiting is on to a busy main road that some seem to mistake for hangar straight.

Real relaxed pub atmosphere with good food and a great night's sleep. In this area there's a large variety of things to do from safari park to canal side walks and some lovely quaint towns all within a 20 mile radius.

Fantastic food, lovely staff and great views. Accommodation very clean and spacious, beds very comfortable. Really nice that the owner takes time to come and talk to everyone. Really great place.
