Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe place is beautifully decorated. It is situated close enough you can walk to the beach but far enough away you don't hear the noise from the holiday park. There is breakfast available, porridge or pastries. It gives you the freedom to come and go as you please with no time constraints.

United KingdomNothing not to like. Just be sure to get there early as on street parking outside can be limited. You will get a space but might be in the next street.
The gables was in a great location just a small distance from the high street and sea front. We were greeted on our arrival and showed the room- sea view king room. The room was spacious and had its own shower and toilet. There was tea and coffee facilities too. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The added bonus was that we also had a free complimentary breakfast put on by the hosts in the lounge - one serving per day. There was waffles, porridge, and cereal bars, to name a few, plus more coffee and tea if needed.

United KingdomNothing.
We stayed on the top floor - the third floor. There was an extra loo on our floor which was very useful when our loo was in use. There is also a complimentary breakfast available which is not advertised and was free of charge. Thank you that was appreciated. Plenty of sockets for charging phones and the TV was a good size. The Gables is close enough to town to walk but is far enough away to park off street without fear of being charged and also be able to walk to the town centre. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks.

The Gables is ideally located just a short stroll away from the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and everything else Hunstanton has to offer. Spacious, clean room with a lovely sea view (room 5). Help yourself breakfast was ideal, no restriction on times and we sat outside in the sunshine every day to have a cup of tea and a pastry. Linda was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful and it was a lovely touch when we returned from a day out to balloons, cake and a card for my partners birthday (celebrating being 61 years young). I would definitely recommend this lovely guesthouse.

Host, Linda is super friendly and accomodating, I stayed an extra 2 nights. Room with balcony with table and chairs made my stay. Linda provides basic breakfast, porridge, pastries, yoghurt. Walk to the town and beach is so short, meant I could come and go throughout the day. Free street parking right outside.

United KingdomWe are experiencing really hot weather, making it feel quite uncomfortable at times. But this has nothing to do with the accommodation and there was a fan in our room , thank goodness as it certainly helped
Linda the owner , greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcome. We saw her quite a few times during our stay, such a lovely lady. Was more like chatting to a friend. We stayed in room 5 with sea views. What a great way to start each morning looking out to see that. The room was spotlessly clean. And had everything you could want . We would definitely stay there again. Its literally a couple of minutes walk into town .
