The hut is equipped with the basic utensils you need for an easy meal and a disposable barbecue. The only think it needs is a blow dryer, it is useful after using the hut tub especially if its a bit colder outside.

The hot tub came on at random during the night, and as the controls were locked we were unable to switch it off fully.

Had everything we needed. Surrounding area was peaceful. Hot tub was lovely. Plenty of amenities.

Great location for couple gateway. Gorgeous high bed so you can the view from your bed or waking up to amazing view. Bed very comfortable and everything what you could need. Plenty places to visit and buy food before arrival to the hut. Enjoying the quiet and tranquil surroundings.

The hut itself was gorgeous from the decor to how comfortable it was to the location. It is so peaceful and picturesque. We loved everything about it and would definitely go back. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus, super warm and extremely clean!

Location was perfect, private. easy to get to. The hut was well equipped with towels, shower gels and soap. Utensils, and all kitchen accessories were available along with dish soap etc. Tea, coffee and sugar was also stocked in the hut

The hut was beautiful. Very clean with everything you need. The towels provided are soft but they are quite small so next time I’d take my own. It felt very secluded. I didn’t feel over looked and I couldn’t see other guests from the hot tub or the outdoor seating but it’s worth knowing that neighbors are relatively close. I didn’t meet the owners, however I did meet their (adult) daughter when checking in and if she’s anything to go by they must be lovely people.

The location. The views !!! The quiet atmosphere. No wifi & tv ! ! Amazing . The size of the shepherd’s hut , for the two of us was perfect ! The hot tub !! The fire pit .

We had a fab one night stay at The Gambo. Beautiful location, with far reaching views over towards the sea and hills. It was very peaceful and nice to have privacy, so we could totally relax. The hot tub was nice and clean and such a treat! The hut was well equipped with everything you need and lovely comfy bed. Wish we could have stayed another night.

Although a minor point, maybe the addition of a toaster to allow for toast etc in the morning and a couple of small shelves by the bed to hold night drinks medication etc. not having these in no way affected the stay, there are just a possible enhancement.

A great location with an outstanding view, from both the hut and the hot tub, over the town of Kidwelly and the estuary. Local shops nearby and only a short drive to a beach.

Gambo Shepherd's hut was very clean and comfortable. Great location- easy to access the village of Kidwelly for shops/restaurants. Fabulous hot tub and amazing views. Inside the shepherd's hut there was an electric radiator as well as a wood burning stove so it is perfect for the colder months. Well equipped with a kitchenette that included a hob and refrigerator, and all essential utensils for basic cooking.
