The only fault we have is that the mattress had seen better days, it was super soft and we both found it hard to sleep on! This could be personal preference though!

Friendly staff, very clean and nice facilities in the room. We also ate at the globe and enjoyed our meals!

The only thing missing was the option to have a cooked breakfast , but as we knew before going we made alternative arrangements.

The location was excellent for what we had planned , The room was very big compared to other hotels we have used and very quiet considering its nearness to the road . The bed was very comfortable and having access without having to go via reception was a bonus. We would definitely stay there again .

Very noisy road outside so hardly slept. Had to have windows open because of the heat but suspect you’d still hear road sounds with them closed. Had requested breakfast in my filters but received a message saying breakfast was only offered as an additional extra. Messaged to request and apparently messaged wasn’t received so no breakfast. Would be helpful to supply decaf tea and coffee.

Very nice pub and absolutely lovely room with en suite. Beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely village location. Good value for money. We were expected so check in straightforward. There is parking which is useful.

The rooms were clean and provided all the amenities for an overnight stay. The pub was friendly and whilst we didn’t eat there the food looked lovely.

I think the property stairs carpet could do with changing and the room could of done with fresh paint

The bed was comfortable and it was in easy reach of where I needed to go

No breakfast included. Bed mattrass was too soft. We had to rush to eat as the kitchen closed, by our standards, early. If we had been even slightly delayed, we might not have made it so I don't know where we would have eaten!

Staff were very friendly indeed. The Inn was extremely accessible and located right on the outskirts of the Wye Valley. Perfect location from London.

Friendly, warm welcome, nice bar and restaurant, had our evening meal there very good food and service. Staff very cheerful and helpful.

Room 2 only things I'd change 1. Could benefit from a better shower head 2. Could have a better shower screen didn't really stop water ending up on the floor

Second time I've stayed smaller room compared to the last time but still a good size for what I needed. Up to date bathroom. Comfortable bed.

See the negatives above which were outweighed by the positives, in the end a nice stay.

On arrival we were shown to or room by a very pleasant lady member of staff, this was room 2, No heating in room radiators cold, tv did not work of the remote, bed pretty poor, room could do with a lock of paint, spoke to the lady again she came up to the room to try and sort things out, she was very apologetic in the end she asked us to look at room3 which we did and what a difference, heating on tv working bed great, if e had been allocated this room to start with everything would have been fine, all other facilities ie pub, food and staff very welcoming. Would stay again in the right roo

A slight humming noise was noticed throughout the night. Wasn't sure where it came from. Everything else was very good.

A very comfortable, quiet & clean location. Good lunchtime & evening menu. It could probably do with providing a breakfast

Only 1 hanger in the wardrobe. No coat hooks or luggage rack. No hooks in the bathroom for towels.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Lovely shower. Good pub grub. Friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi.

The stairway to the rooms was very steep, so a no-no for anyone disabled. Our room was at the front on the roadway side and was therefore noisy with the windows open. (It was 28c) We did ask if they had a fan but none were forthcoming. The TV in the room had a mind of its own and came on every 2 hours , so at two in the morning we unplugged it.

The location was very good, the pub was very nice inside and had an impressive garden. The staff were all very nice and couldn't do enough. The food was excellent.

A convenient location , friendly and helpful staff and a pleasant room. We had a meal in the pub restaurant which was excellent and although the pub was packed, they found us a table at the last minute. We stayed for a night and it was a perfect staging post on our journey to the south. minute

Distance into Chepstow. It is a 10 minute drive or 2.5hr walk. There are limited taxis available so I'd recommend looking into ubers before hand but be prepared for a wait.

The staff were very polite and accommodating. The room was absolutely beautiful, very clean and tidy. We had a lovely staff overnight and will definitely be returning.

For me the mattress was pretty uncomfortable but my husband said it was fine. Poss down to personal taste. Other than that a great stay 😁

Lovely pub. Inside the pub and our room were really pretty. Everything we needed was in the room for us. Plenty of tea bags and milk etc! Staff were very welcoming.
