The mattress in my room (room 4) wasn't the comfiest; however, the room overall was very good. The ensuite flooring could use a bit of attention, but that's my nit-picking.

The staff were exceptional. Professional, attentive, and extremely helpful. I didn't get the chaps name, but a special shout out for the server who was behind the bar and had dark hair and glasses.

Very comfortable and clean. Nice meal in the evening and lovely breakfast (great to have fresh fruit selection too). Grandsons were happy with their bunk beds and plenty of room to move around. My bed was very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming.

The rooms need a refresh - the standard of decorating was poor and dated (badly painted blown vinyl wallpaper).

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Stayed in Room 1 on the front. We booked an overnight stay so that we would set off for the remainder of our journey to St Ives the following morning feeling refreshed. Unfortunately, due to lots of road noise and the offloading of barrels and supplies to the pub at 7 in the morning, meant a poor night's sleep for our onward journey which defeated the object of arriving feeling fresh and ready. That said, we would still book here again for the same reason, but probably ask for a room at the back

our bathroom was a little dated but after talking to the owner they are undertaking renovations of the guest rooms starting next year.this would not put me off staying again.

the breakfast was very good and was cooked to a high standard.the other options was also to a high standard if you did not require a cooked breakfast.

Lovely friendly welcome. Prompt service at meals. Good, well priced food. And we had a fan! Nice toiletries and hospitality tray.

We had a lovely room, which was very spacious. The shower was great & plenty of room in the bathroom. Everywhere was clean & well cared for. The staff were all friendly & eager to make sure you had everything you needed. The food was excellent. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients & delicious. Best chilli con carne I have had in a long time!. I would not hesitate to recommend The Globe Inn.

Nothing to dislike.

We were there for a family wedding/reunion. From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed all the staff were so pleasant and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Radiators were on in July, making the upstairs corridor very hot!

A warm welcome by the staff. A large family room. An excellent breakfast. Amazing value for money. Close to M5 junction for travelling.

Excellent country pub with comfortable and clean accommodation. Food really good and breakfast was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly with nothing too much trouble. Value for money was unbelievable. Would highly recommend

No plug socket near desk to be able to power laptop. Had to work from console table underneath the TV. Same problem when trying to use hairdryer. Curtains very thin which let light in. Suggest blackout lining. Glass screen door to shower doesn't quite form a tight seal with the bath, so water leaked onto the floor in bathroom.

Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Food was very good. Ideal location for my needs. Liked the separate door into the accommodation which meant I didn't have to go in and out of bar area

Nothing everything was better than expected

Could not fault anything with our evening here. From the very warm welcome to the very warm goodbye. The room was excellent even had a bath not just a shower. The food we had for our evening meal was cooked perfectly, served with a smile andva laugh. The staff serving food and bar staff could not do enough for you. And this was repeated at breakfast with all different staff but the same excellent service. Would highly recommend The Globe. Even the two big light fittings were impressive

It’s old fashioned but has a charm , the breakfast is very good .

A blind in the bathroom would be good due to being directly onto a main road with a huge sash window.

Great location for a stop off on a long journey into Devon. Food and facilities are brilliant, especially for a youngster. The beer garden, canal and local park give plenty of options to stretch out after a few hours in the car. Staff are great and the room has everything needed.
