Not much - maybe a choice of cereals and fruit at breakfast would have been good to have available whilst waiting for the cooked food. Good location for exploring Kent and Sussex. On a main road so rush hour is noisy - easily managed with ear plugs which are de rigeur for many hotels these days.

Excellent Breakfast - freshly prepared. Plenty of choice and freshly prepared and nicely served. Lovely room - spacious and comfortable. Good pizzas in the evening.

We found everything was perfect for our needs during our 3 night stay.

Very large rooms, comfy beds, bottled water supplied, hair dryer, iron etc, quality soaps, gels etc, nice happy, helpful, friendly staff, good choice of breakfasts, decent quality freshly cooked, excellent location, good sized car park.

Only slight negative that some people won't like, the pub is on a busy road and due to the heat we had to have the windows open in the bedroom so there was traffic noise, which obviously quietened off overnight.

Lovely staff, very friendly & welcoming. Lovely room (their open-plan suite) Excellent evening food & cocktail and even better cooked breakfast .

Traffic noise from road, not much obeying of 30 mph speed limit! - and there were a lot of noisy motorbikes passing when we were there. Not the pubs fault but it spoils a nice village.

Welcoming staff, comfy bed, easy parking and good food! If you are there for business and need to be out early. The breakfast doesn't start until 8 but, they gave me a wonderful breakfast box so no issues.

Breakfast - expensive for what it was ( especially drinks - 3 GBP for a small cup of tea! I wish I had gone back to the room to make one with facilities provided), long wait, some breakfast dishes could have a better description of what they are... Our room was facing quite a busy road which was noisy through the night (cars)- we couldn't open the window which wasn't a problem with cool weather but I can imagine it may be an issue during the summer.

Comfy and large room. Super clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly staff and tasty dinner. Dog friendly:)

Literally after we checked in and were being shown to our room, the member of staff told us there was no breakfast chef so it would be a buffet of cereals and pastries. We didn't bother but we did see what was on offer as we left the next morning and was glad we declined. We ate in the restaurant but the staff didn't tell us what wasn't available when presenting the menu. We had 3 goes at ordinary g something to eat we fancied. The service was slow and they compensated for this by pre-empting complaints by giving us free drinks etc. I would prefer good service. There is nowhere close to walk the dig other than the car park up up the high street. Our lad was fine with this but others might not be. For the overnight cost, without breakfast we would not return.

We stayed prior to an early hospital appointment. There are narrow stairs up to the rooms but not an issue for u. The room was smaller than we imagined but for one night not an issue, it was dog friendly which was the main reason for booking it. It was clean, warm and comfortable so no co.plai is there.

Only small complaint would be quite lot of traffic noise at night due to location of pub. Not a lot they can do about that though.

Great pub with beautiful rooms and lovely food. Scott the manager couldn't have been more helpful. Also a great venue for the work meeting we ran the following day in the private dining room.

Right on the road so there was a lot of traffic noise and car lights shining through the the window, which kept me awake.

Lovely room with good facilities, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
