Found the keypad entry system fiddly and couldn’t make out numbers very well. No tea facilities in the room. Dirty marks on wall in toilet and behind the double bed. Someone’s jacket was in the wardrobe

The smell, The long-legged spiders in the corners of the ceiling, No cups or mugs in the kitchen. No response from the owners when I asked about making coffee or tea without cups. No TV signal.

The bed was comfortable.

The building smells damp as soon as you walk in. The room was too small with the double bed in the corner, no where to sit, no desk either. Wardrobe with cheap wire hangers. The TV was not facing the bed, I hit my head on the TV every time I went to the bathroom. New kitchen but poor or non-existent kitchen wares in, no cutlery, it didnt instill me to cook.

The heating and hot water were great

Where do I start? The entry system on the front door appeared to be broken. My colleague tried it. I tried it. It didn't appear to work to the code given As a result, I either slept with the front door open or locked out other residents by putting the latch down when I got in from a gig. I opted for the latter and was woken twice by angry fellow residents attempting to gain access via a locked front door (thus proving the key box door entry did not work.) There were no soap or towels in the bedroom only a bath mat - so I had to use the bathmat and mini body wash/shower gel to wash my hands. While there was full access to the kitchen on the ground floor, there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I would have preferred. There was no live TV just online, leaving me feeling a bit isolated and disorientated as a lone traveller as I like to keep up with the news. It was also a bit of a faff having to log on to the wi-fi just to get any TV at all. I had to contact the host three times to obtain the relevant door entry and wi-fi pass codes even though I arrived at the earlier end of the hour-long window advised. I would have expected the host to greet me and talk me through housekeeping, as my host had at a similarly unstaffed overnight stay the previous week.

The good stuff??? Relatively short hop from the venues in the centre of Stockton. Very clean and well appointed - if rather cheap - furnishings, etc. The double bed was more comfortable than mine at home. I slept like a baby!

Kitchen a bit short of kit if you were wanting to self-cater.

A well equipped, clean house in a quiet backstreet. We had trouble getting in (we'd been given the wrong code), but this was easily resolved over the phone. Each room has its own lock. Comfortable beds. Kitchen moderately well provided for.

I was feeling quite unsafe, even though the host reassurred me about the safety. The room was unlocked when we've arrived and smelled moldy. There was hole in the bedroom wall. I would not recommend in for woman or group of women traveling alone.

The price is very good, kitchin is very nice and clean. The host is kind and helpful.

It is advertised as a lodge but is just a terraced house. The parking is just on the street. We had to park around the corner. Hallway had a funny smell. And a good 20 minute walk to the town centre.

I hadn't received instructions on how to get in. I rang and got no answer. They rang back about 5 minutes later. The smart TV was useless as the internet wasn't good enough. The position of the TV meant you had to be careful coming out of the bathroom. The shower went cold twice whilst I was in it. It was quite noisy in the building in the morning. The blinds let the sun through, so when you have been woken it is difficult to go back to sleep. Parking is on the road. Outside the property is a narrow road so people block the pavement.

The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable.

The toilet was cramped with smallest wash basin in the World. Everything was organised over the internet, I am used to meeting people when I stay somewhere. We couldn’t get the TV to work, if it does work it is far too complicated. (Any idiot can get complicated, it is wise to keep thins simple)

We made our own breakfast so N?A The property was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable.

Lack of reasonable quality cooking utensils.Weekly changing of towels. No chair in room for sitting. Not enough garbage bags or kitchen paper towels(need to keep up supply of paper towels) not enough hand towels for washing hands after toilet use.No pan scourer. Back yard needs cleaning and a decent bin for rubbish provided. We kept the kitchen clean, however the floor needed a clean. Beds and bedding great

I would have liked if it had a complimentary bottle of water or hot kettle with tea bag on the table as the lounge is located far from town or local stores. Plus if you arrived late at night like we did, the bottled water or tea with a kettle would have been nice.

The bed was comfy and the room was clean and smelt good.
