Such a lovely hotel and stay. Paul was fantastic! So welcoming and never passed without saying hello. Gave us some info on the hotel and whiskeys on offer. Will for sure be back for a whiskey tasting night soon.

After hiking 30km in the rain, I arrived after the kitchen was closed. They were wonderful to make an exemption for me and served me a hot plate of food. All staff was incredible!

Recently renovated whilst still retaining some original features . Bedroom and bathroom tastefully renovated and decorated . Delicious breakfast . Very pleasant staff .

Rooms are spacious, spotless and beautiful. The staff were fantastic and the food was lovely. I can't recommend this place more! I loved the wee bar, so cosy and welcoming. If you enjoy your whiskey you will love this place!

Recently refurbished listed hotel. They have done an excellent job and feels more 4 star than 3 for sure. It's officially a whiskey hotel so the selection available in the bar is amazing. Breakfast was also beautiful

There was no view from our room,... Although I don't think there is a good view from any of the rooms.... the privacy curtains meant that didn't really matter.

The room was beautiful, two doubles, great for families, great bathroom, lovely shower. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent, everyone enjoyed their food.

Minor detail, very minor. It was a bit difficult to find our room but it was due to the quirkiness of the building which I loved and as already stated, it was only one night. We certainly didn’t get lost or anything but a few more arrows in the right direction wouldnt have gone a miss. Everything else was perfect. Sorry personally i thought the staircase was dull and dark but everywhere else i adored the decor

Beautifully decorated. Staff very friendly. It was only a very short stay so I didn’t get the time to check out the bar or shop or have dinner. Hence I couldn’t give totally top marks but I would recommend this hotel definitely and in fact I would like to go back again and explore more.

Some more shelf space in the bathroom would be handy.

We stayed one night at the Harbour View Hotel in Carnlough and had a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming – especially to our dog Max, who was made to feel right at home. The hotel has a few rooms specifically set aside for guests with dogs, which is a real bonus for anyone travelling with pets. Our room was spotless – absolutely immaculate and very comfortable. It’s clear the team take great pride in their standards. Breakfast the next morning was beautiful – fresh, generous, and perfectly cooked. The eggs were just how I like them: nice and runny! A short but memorable stay. We’d happily return – and Max would too!

The power shower although very modern was ineffective, with poor flow

Old world style, coupled with attentive friendly staff. The restaurant and food were excellent and huge portions. Free of charge car park (located across the street from the hotel). Modern well equipped bathrooms

The property was lovely. Easy check in, lovely bar and restaurant and super friendly staff.
