There were metal stairs leading up to the hayloft that we didn't expect. They were manageable for us but a little tricky in the rain.

The apartment was cosy and comfortable. It was clean and the position for us was great as we had a car to visit the surrounding villages.

Its a busy road so take care getting in or out of car (especially with dogs or children). The walk to the pub (only 500 metres) is dangerous and on a turn (bring a torch or hi vis in darkness).

Cute, clean, well accomadated with wifi and secure pretty garden. All mod cons and cooking facilities. Free parking. Local pub (serving food) in walking distance. You can walk/hike to the beach through a public footpath (through fields and dairy cows).

The only real negative was that the property is right next to a fairly busy road. It was difficult to get the car off the drive, and we couldn’t see a safe way of doing it without someone getting out of the car and checking for gaps in the traffic. Road was a bit noisy at night time when we opened the windows.

Very comfortable, pleasant little apartment with everything we needed for a couple of nights. Short drive to Port Isaac and just up the road from the Cornish Arms pub, which had great beer and food and fun music. Hosts very helpful. Would recommend.

There was nothing not to like.

The Hayloft is a lovely place to stay. it was very cosy, comfy bed and in a great location, close to Port Isaac and Polzeath. Jo was very helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay. the fresh milk and lovely cornish biscuits were lovely little additions and Jo was able to arrange an early check in and late check out which was amazing.

Good location for walking and close to port Isaac, also the bus stop is convenient. The pub down the road is great a step back in time with good priced beer and pizzas after a long walk with dogs.

Perfect spot for just the 2 of us for a few nights. Clean & tidy with everything you needed. Would definitely stay again.

Some minor things, which did not stop us from enjoying our stay, was sadly, there was no apartment information about facilities or the recycling, (apart from a note on the bin), there were coloured bags and plastic boxes avaliable but no information as to what should go where, except for the general waste, and no information as to when the refuse collection would be. Consequently there seemed to be a large build up of rubbish in the storage area that had not been put out for collecting.

Jo was very helpful with information about access to the Hayloft regarding the key safe and parking. Jo also recommended a very enjoyable coastal walk. We enjoyed the local pub, which is currently only able to cook woodfired pizza, we believe they plan to expand their menu in the future. The Hayloft is a very compact but comfortable studio apartment. Issues were resolved promptly.

The only thing I was missing in the property itself was a washing machine. Otherwise I can’t fault it at all. It’s a small place, but very cosy.please also be aware that Hayloft is upstairs-maybe my fault for not reading correctly. As I was bringing my dog it would have been easier to have a property on the ground floor to access the garden directly. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay at Hayloft. Many thanks

Hayloft is situated at the perfect location-close to some fabulous beaches, not far from Port Isaac for some food shopping. Beautiful areas to discover all around. Great to have parking at the property too. The communal garden is very pretty.

Nothing really; it was all lovely. An accommodation manual would be helpful to future guests, as it took us a while to work out the heating and TV, etc. In fact, we think the TV router wasn't switched on at all, which didn't worry us as we just wanted to read and explore. I know this will be sorted for future guests! Also a pair of kitchen scissors would be good.

The Hayloft is a gorgeous little countryside apartment for two, located in a beautiful area of Cornwall within an easy 10 minute drive of Port Isaac. It's charming and clean, with a huge and super comfy bed, and crisp, warm linen. The kitchen and bathroom where spotless and very pretty. Good shower. The views from it are amazing, the apartment adjoining the host's lovely property and accessed by 'fire escape' style stairs. There's even a glimpse of the sea. Fabulous. Jo, our host, was warm and friendly, responding quickly to any queries while respecting our privacy.

The room is on the first floor, which we didn’t realise on booking. Access by an angled open metal staircase which was quite steep. Our dog would not use it so had to be carried up and down. The garden lawn was quite long which upset the dog and he wouldn’t go.poor mobile phone signal at the property which is not the fault of the owners but the wifi was very weak which meant it dropped out a bit. There wasn’t anyone at the property to discuss things with, had to be done by either text or phone. Only one bedside cabinet so had to use the floor. The quilt was very noisy( crinkling)There was no cupboard or wardrobe for clothes so had to be in the suitcases. The door to the bathroom was glass and there was nowhere to stow soap etc in the shower. The front door had glass panels in it but no way of stopping the light coming through in the early morning. There was a thirty pound charge for having the dog with us which we didn’t know about until after booking and so had to be paid separately. On complaint when we left the owners offered a refund which has now been received . We chose to leave after the first night of two mainly because we were finished early at our engagement and couldn’t face the second night. This review is as it was and is meant as suggestions for improvement.

The room was clean, albeit small. Yea and coffee provided. The garden was secure

Pulling out of the driveway was a bit awkward, so we recommend to reverse into the space, this was a lot safer than trying to reverse out onto the road:)

Very cosy and quaint spot with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Perfect location, with the host offering helpful local recommendations for days out. We felt very welcomed, and accommodated for the host was exceptional - provided all the information we needed, and answered any questions we had.

The road is quite busy but nice and quiet at night.

The Hay Loft was beautifully decorated, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for visiting many places and the pub, just a short distance down the road served great beer and food, especially the pizzas! The pretty and totally secure garden was a real bonus for our dog and a place for us to sit at the end of a busy day exploring. Very comfy bed!
