Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very little to say here as I liked everything. There was a TV but it was very small and high up. It would perhaps have been nice to have a larger one with more channels.
My room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and I was delighted to have a small fridge provided where I could keep my packed lunches. I also had a kettle, coffee, tea and a bottle of real milk provided, which I appreciated. Breakfast and freshly brewed coffee were very nice. I was pleased that I could have decaf coffee. Catherine and her family, who were visiting, were very welcoming and I very much enjoyed my stay.

Catherine was a wonderful host, quick to help us, and made a lovely breakfast. The room was very comfortable for our overnight stay. The Inn is an easy walk away for dinner. The apartment was located well to cost the Brecon Beacons waterfalls.

There was nothing that I didn't like, it was perfect!
Perfect location for an event I was attending! Wi-Fi was a must for me and that was more than adequate! Catherine was a very pleasant and friendly host, as well as being very flexible to my requirements.

Great location for Henrhyd Falls and Craig-y- Nos. The staff were fabulous. Thanks Cathryn. The room was cozy and breakfast absolutely perfect. Also, quite convenient for the Becons Park.

We were in The Old Stables room and because of poor sound insulation we could hear every movement above us, even down to using the toilet!
We were made to feel very welcome. A nice clean room with ample supplies of tea coffee etc. lovely breakfast cooked to order.

There is nothing I didn't like. It does not disappoint
Beautiful room and bathroom, very clean and comfortable. Everything has been thought of. Fabulous hosts and facilities. Was made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Great location for me. I can't recommend this place any higher. TOP NOTCH

There was nothing to dislike, the following evening staying at another B&B in Elan Valley, just caused the group to keep saying how good the price and service at the Hub had been.
An excellent variety on the menu for breakfast. Personnaly went for the full fry (fatboy breakfast) Well prepared, hot and tasty with plenty of tea, OJ and coffe.

A lovely B & B with friendly owners who make you feel very welcome. Clean, comfortable room with en-suite. Good choice at breakfast. A perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts that is easy to find just off the main road.

We got wet through on Saturday night and couldn't find anywhere to turn the heating on.

Some might find the bedrooms small or stairs steep (no lift) - the property is a stone built pair of terraced houses.
Compact cosy and comfortable family run B+B. Warm, clean, ensuite rooms, great cooked breakfast in a former miners’ Victorian Terrace. The Hub is a community shop/ café /Post Office /B+B. On street parking.
