Very convenient for Telford. Rooms were nicely decorated and it was quite at night. Staff were very welcoming. They kindly made us sandwiches to take away each morning as we had early starts before breakfast.

We had a double bed but as we are used to a king sized bed was a little small.

The breakfast was tasty and hearty. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and shower had a constant temperature.

Lack of aircon or fan

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room was well equipped the only issue being there was no aircon which on a really hot evening made cooling the room difficult there wasn't a fan to circulate air either. Staff couldn't be more helpful from booking through to checkout . There was a good selection for Breakfast including cereals, toast and plenty of cooked options all of a very high standard We would stay again

Easy check in on arrival and we was able to move into our room earlier than advertised which was helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room. Good food.

The location (just outside Telford),the modern bedrooms with all the required facilities, the restaurant serving good food (and drinks)at reasonable prices and the friendly efficient staff. Will go again if in the area.

It‘s a detail really but it would be nice to have a towel rail besides the radiator and a hook for the hand-towel by the sink.

The Huntsman is one of those rare finds that you hope for on your travels. It is on top of a hill on the edge of the village where the only sound in the night is the call of an owl and you get woken by the dawn chorus of birds. It has only 3 rooms. Our room appeared to have been refurbished very recently and -even though a tad small - had all the right things. The bathroom was state of the art. The restaurant was exceptional, fine food nicely presented. Beyond my understanding why the don’t have any Gault Millau points. The staff was very good too. Special thanks to the lady who served the breakfast and also cleaned our room every day. Such people are hard to find nowadays.

Lovely location with a comfortable room that which was ideal for our needs. Exceptional customer service from all the staff. Special thanks to Keeley who made our stay extra special. We also enjoyed the Sunday lunch and would highly recommend.

The weather was very hot during our stay and the winterweight duvet was far too warm. A lightweight duvet for summer months would make the lovely rooms even more comfortable. A little more choice on the menu for vegetarians and vegans would be nice, especially for guests staying multiple nights

The Huntsman is in a lovely rural location but within easy driving distance of many places of interest. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed for three nights and ate in the pub each evening. The dining room is well appointed, the food was well cooked with generous servings. We found each member of staff to be helpful and friendly.

The fact we were only there one night. Couldn't find a thing to dislike.

Great room with great facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant doesn't open Monday so we booked a table in the bar, which still had the same menu. The meal was amazing!!! Even though there's a bar, there was no noise. Breakfast was also very good.
