I liked the decor, the comfort in our room. It is an old coaching inn which has been decorated to a very modern and high standard. The staff were very friendly and food was superb

We used as a base from Monday to Thursday, lovely to sit in evening on return from visiting attractions and family with a refreshing drink in the lovely garden. Our breakfasts were lovely and even if not on menu asked and still had. The staff were all wonderful, making you feel like a friend not just a visitor.

We stayed for two nights for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful property. Clean, accommodating, comfortable. The staff are hard working and delightful. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was wonderful. Loved hearing about the history of the building. May it continue to run.

Inn was described as on Booking .Com as being in 4 acres of ground - obviously this is no longer the case and I would suggest the website is updated to reflect this . Other than that our experience was positive and enjoyable

The inn is a unique 16th century property - the room we were booked into was large with comfortable 4 poster bed, the decor is a little dated but immaculately clean, , tea,coffee, milk and biscuits provided & topped up daily by housekeeping staff, as were fresh towels and bedding as required. Our only issue was with the bathroom - would have liked a walk in shower due to disability and the bathroom window wouldn’t open. Every thing else was up to expectation. Breakfast was great, good choice, fresh produce, well presented and cooked - table service We ate in two of the 4 nights we stayed- the menu was good and the food excellent - freshly cooked, generous portions - served on hot plates and beautifully presented. Owners and staff at the inn are friendly and very accommodating without being obtrusive. Beautiful garden - well kept and tended, outside seating clean and immaculate, service good. All in all our stay at the Inn has been very good and we would definitely stay there if we visit the Cotswolds again.

A fairytale room in the attic of a centuries-old building. An inn along an ancient Roman road, where every corner has centuries of stories to tell. The fantastic hosts welcomed us as if we were at home. Both the restaurant and the breakfast offered excellent vegan options. Dogs are more than welcome. We’ll definitely return, even if only to spend some time there.

Pretty hotel, spotlessly clean. Lovely terrace with pots and baskets of flowers. Fresh flowers in bar tables and breakfast room tables. Very nice evening meal and super breakfast. Could not fault anything and would highly recommend it .

There is some traffic noise as it is located on a main road but it didn't spoil our stay.

The breakfast was a little bit disappointing, the portions were small & no baked beans provided. Also our poached eggs were over-cooked. The website shows a very inviting family-friendly garden area with ‘Little Tikes’ style children’s coupe toys. We asked if we could have one but they are no longer available, not a dealbreaker but the website photos should be updated. We had looked at hotels with a playground or something similar for our little one so it was a shame there was nothing for him to play with outside.

Great location, lovely old Inn with lots of character. Good meals & comfortable rooms with bottles of water provided. Very dog/child friendly atmosphere in the Inn.

I loved staying at the Inn! The proprietors were very kind and communicated clearly. The property and our room was gorgeous and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! The Inn was a perfect home base for our day trips into the villages of the Cotswolds.

The property is at the bottom of a dip in the road, and for that reason mobile reception was very poor. While the windows of our room could be opened, there were wasps flying around just outside, so we kept them shut.

Mostly everything. We enjoyed our stay there - the staff were very helpful, the room was good, the breakfasts were substantial as were the evening meals. We would recommend staying there.

I was a bit dissatisfied as the picture I saw from the website shows there is a bathtub but when we came inside there was only a shower room although shower was nice and new so it was lovely.

A lovely cosy inn with lovely decorations and great food at the restaurant! What we really liked was very quiet environment as there are not many rooms in this inn so we didn’t feel we were at touristy area. We felt like warm family atmosphere with kind stuffs!

There was nothing not to like. We would go back again and the setting was gorgeous.

The location was really lovely and the Inn was beautiful. Really old building and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pub was a beautiful old style with a restaurant attached and the meal we had there was lovely. My husband was in his seventh heaven as he had the pie and mash and it was delicious.

There is nothing to dislike about this Hotel or it's staff.

A fabulous stay from start to finish. A great Menu, well priced and excellently prepared. The room was as described, very comfortable and with good facilities. Easy Parking and a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Friendly and helpful, pleasant staff.

The rooms facing the highway can be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper.

Fantastic old inn. Great pub food! The innkeepers are a lot of fun.
